Description : Gateway Classic Cars of Orlando is proud to offer this 1956 Chevrolet 150 2 Door Post. Tri-Five Chevy's have stood the test of time that all car enthusiasts can appreciate. From movies like American Graffiti to Two Lane Black Top these cars were the scene stealers. This 150 2 Door Post is a beautiful restoration that has been tastefully done and will look great for years to come. The all steel body is painted a breathtaking candy apple red. A quick look under the car will show a solid frame, brake lines and updated suspension components. Under the hood is a gnarly sounding 350 V8 engine. The 350 also sports polished aluminum valve covers for the classic hot rod look of the '50s. The inner fenders have been painted to match the exterior which makes all the under hood components really pop out. A stainless-steel dual exhaust system gets rid of the spent gases and sounds good doing it. Keeping the engine cool is an aluminum radiator. Backing the 350 V8 is a turbo 400 transmission and sends power through a Ford 9 inch rear with 3:73 gears. This '56 Chevrolet goes pretty quick, so 4 wheel disc brakes, and front/rear sway bars have been added to keep this car stable during acceleration, hard stops and corners. Inside this Chevy the interior is just as nice as the rest of the car. The power adjustable bucket seats are upholstered in a caramel toned leather and flank a beautiful real wood grain center console. Under the dash is a custom mounted touch screen stereo. This is the one you want to own! Options include Air Conditioning, AM/FM/Bluetooth stereo, Power steering, Power Seats, Tilt Wheel, Seat Belts, Leather Interior, Limited Slip Rear and Alloy Wheels wrapped in Radial Tires.

About Chevrolet
Chevrolet aka Chevy, founded in 1911 by Louis Chevrolet and William C. Durant is the best selling and biggest brand by General Motors -mainly due to low pricing.

No wonder Chevy the "working man's car" has become such an iconic part of Americana in films and pop-culture.

When talking about Chevy one must not ignore Chevrolet small-block V8 the world's most produced engine that has been in production since 1955 and still going strong.

Surprisingly, "America's only sports car" Corvette was introduced under Chevrolet brand rather than its own. To us the most memorable Corvette has to be The second generation (C2) Corvette, Sting Ray.

To compete with VW Beatle Chevrolet introduced Corvair a compact automobile built in 1960–1969 It was the only American designed, mass-produced passenger car to feature a rear-mounted air-cooled engine. Corvair handling was deemed notoriously bad mainly due to Ralph Nader's Unsafe at Any Speed. Although, any handling issues were soon solved the reputation did stick.

With Pony / Muscle car mania taking over the Americans, following the introduction of Ford Mustang, Chevrolet came up with one of its most famous models Camaro. During the first year alone they managed to sell 220,906 Camaros.
