Chevrolet 210 350 1955

General description : One Hot Rod Wagon

Just Toys Classic Cars is proud to present this stunning 1955 Chevrolet 210 Handyman wagon. There were actually 7,276 fewer 210's made than Nomads. Obviously, Nomads have gotten the attention over the years, but let us be very clear, this is one bad hot rod here that is very rare and hard to come by and man is it awesome. The hot rod red paint has an awesome look out in the sun and gets attention wherever it goes. With the stance, the staggered 18 and 20 inch wheels, this particular 210 garners all the attention you could want and then some.
The interior of this bad boy looks like is just came down the line with new carpet, new vinyl covered seats, and the list goes on and on. To redo an interior like this could run you anywhere from $2,000 to $3,000. You get the benefits of someone else's hard earned money put in to it. Now, not only is this interior extremely comfortable, spacious, cool due to a vintage air kit, but you have an unbelievable hidden stereo system. It just looks like a simple vintage am/fm radio, but that is just a wolf in sheep's clothing. Underneath that innocent looking radio is about $7,000 worth of custom stereo equipment. As you will see in the pics there is a custom speaker enclosure in the back. Custom made door panels with speakers in them, a killer amp under the passenger side of the front bench seat and the list goes on and on. So you can roll in style with cool A/C and awesome tunes. This vehicle is just all kinds of cool.
Under the hood sits a beautiful looking 350 mated to a turbo 400 transmission, and all that exits out through a 10 bolt rear end. Now as we all know, if you have a lot of go like this bad boy does, you need to have a lot of whoa. Well, this bad ride doesn't disappoint there either. This has power disc brakes up front and disc in the rear as well. The 245 18's up front will give you plenty of cornering grip and the tubular upper and lower control arms help with that as well. The 275 20's in the rear are going to clay to the pavement like a tiger to its prey as you put your foot further and further down on the loud pedal and maybe even leave a little smoke behind you (wink wink).
What else can we say. This is just one bad mama jama from tip to tail. The only problem with it is that it is not in your garage right now. About Chevrolet
Chevrolet aka Chevy, founded in 1911 by Louis Chevrolet and William C. Durant is the best selling and biggest brand by General Motors -mainly due to low pricing.

No wonder Chevy the "working man's car" has become such an iconic part of Americana in films and pop-culture.

When talking about Chevy one must not ignore Chevrolet small-block V8 the world's most produced engine that has been in production since 1955 and still going strong.

Surprisingly, "America's only sports car" Corvette was introduced under Chevrolet brand rather than its own. To us the most memorable Corvette has to be The second generation (C2) Corvette, Sting Ray.

To compete with VW Beatle Chevrolet introduced Corvair a compact automobile built in 1960–1969 It was the only American designed, mass-produced passenger car to feature a rear-mounted air-cooled engine. Corvair handling was deemed notoriously bad mainly due to Ralph Nader's Unsafe at Any Speed. Although, any handling issues were soon solved the reputation did stick.

With Pony / Muscle car mania taking over the Americans, following the introduction of Ford Mustang, Chevrolet came up with one of its most famous models Camaro. During the first year alone they managed to sell 220,906 Camaros.
