Chevrolet 210 350 V8 1956

General description : 1956 Chevrolet Restomod Classic Chevrolets will never loose their place in the classic car world, making them a great investment.  This 1956 Chevrolet is coated in Red and Black which works great with the classic two tone paint scheme.  It was repainted in 2014 and has a slick finish.  All of the glassis is new and tinted except for the windshield. The chrome throughout, from the bumpers to the window frames are in good condition and all in place.  The car rides on polished Torque Thrust wheels with fresh tires (P225/70R15). The 350 V8 (4 bolt main) was completely rebuilt and runs strong.  The chrome Chevrolet valve covers along with the chrome air cleaner and various other billet parts help to dress up the engine very nicely.  It is bored .40 over, has flat top pistons, double roller timing chain, 195 valves, headers and a 268 comp cam giving it the perfect amount of performance.  The Turbo 400 transmission mates perfectly up to the V8 and shifts smoothly.  The power brakes slow the car to a stop with ease and it has discs in front and drums in rear.  Another feature includes power steering giving you just as smooth of a ride as with your daily driver.  The front suspension has been entirely rebuilt and it has been lowered 2 inches.  It also has all new shocks, new leafs in the rear, a new aluminum radiator, new redtop optima battery, all new wiring harness and a new stainless steel gas tank.  The car sounds great and with electric cutouts you can open it up and really let it rumble.  The interior was custom finished out in red and black tweed with white bowtie accents.  It has bucket seats which are very comfortable and have plenty of room.  The dash is all in great shape with all stock style knobs and switches in place.  The new aftermarket AM/FM/CD/Bluetooth player sounds great and is mounted to the center of the dash.  It also has a new amp and all new speakers.  Additional gauges (Oil, Amp, Vac, Temp) have been mounted in a polished bezel underneath the dash.  A Sun Super Tach III tachometer has also been added up top.  The polished tilt column has a custom APC steering wheel that looks great.  The Lokar transmission shifter is mounted on the floor and looks right at home. This is a great classic that would be a great addition to any collection.  It is a very fun car! Add it to your collection for $53,000.00! This vehicle is located in Kansas.

About Chevrolet
Chevrolet aka Chevy, founded in 1911 by Louis Chevrolet and William C. Durant is the best selling and biggest brand by General Motors -mainly due to low pricing.

No wonder Chevy the "working man's car" has become such an iconic part of Americana in films and pop-culture.

When talking about Chevy one must not ignore Chevrolet small-block V8 the world's most produced engine that has been in production since 1955 and still going strong.

Surprisingly, "America's only sports car" Corvette was introduced under Chevrolet brand rather than its own. To us the most memorable Corvette has to be The second generation (C2) Corvette, Sting Ray.

To compete with VW Beatle Chevrolet introduced Corvair a compact automobile built in 1960–1969 It was the only American designed, mass-produced passenger car to feature a rear-mounted air-cooled engine. Corvair handling was deemed notoriously bad mainly due to Ralph Nader's Unsafe at Any Speed. Although, any handling issues were soon solved the reputation did stick.

With Pony / Muscle car mania taking over the Americans, following the introduction of Ford Mustang, Chevrolet came up with one of its most famous models Camaro. During the first year alone they managed to sell 220,906 Camaros.
