Chevrolet 3100 350 V8 1953

General description : Gateway Classic Cars of Tampa is proud to present this 1953 Chevy 3100. What happened to the days of dirt roads? What happened to the days of drive-in movies? What happened to the days of cruising the countryside with all of your friends loaded in the back of your truck? Well, those days may be long gone, but you can still experience and reminisce driving in this beautiful 1953 Chevrolet 3100. This gorgeous truck is a ground-up restoration, to truly reflect the fantastic styles created between the days of past and present. This truck is far from original which makes it a real work of art. Make sure you hold on tight because this 3100 has plenty of “get up and go.” Perched atop a Nova sub-frame, this slick pick-up is packing an Isley’s built Chevy 350 V8 4 bolt main. It does not stop there – mated to the small block is a TCI 350 transmission with a 2100 stall converter, and a Nova rear finishes off the drivetrain off this resto-mod. You can Hot Rod around town or cruise down the interstate at a relaxing 70 miles per hour. Braking in this beautiful truck will not be an issue either; disc brakes are located on all four corners of this truck. The paint is done in a beautiful blue finish, with painted running boards to match. As you follow down the line into the bed, it has been re-finished in stained wood paneling, lined with stainless steel runners. This truck is a multi-function vehicle since you can drive this to the car show and win some trophies, and drive to the store and get your groceries! Take a gander in the cabin, and you will quickly notice grey tone cloth interior that offsets the blue exterior graciously. The inside accessories sport Dakota Gauges which will help you monitor all the vitals of this 1953 Chevy 3100. The interior is tastefully done to make its participants comfortable, yet it still retains a classic simplistic feel. Everyone can take a Chevy 3100 and restore it to factory condition, but the real beauty of this truck comes from a vision. You must see a finished version before you start. How you execute the concept shows the genius behind the thought. This truck shows well and looks like a modern-day version of itself. Options include AM/FM Radio, Power Steering, Tilt Wheel, Cloth interior, Redial Tires, and Aluminum/Alloy Wheels. About Chevrolet
Chevrolet aka Chevy, founded in 1911 by Louis Chevrolet and William C. Durant is the best selling and biggest brand by General Motors -mainly due to low pricing.

No wonder Chevy the "working man's car" has become such an iconic part of Americana in films and pop-culture.

When talking about Chevy one must not ignore Chevrolet small-block V8 the world's most produced engine that has been in production since 1955 and still going strong.

Surprisingly, "America's only sports car" Corvette was introduced under Chevrolet brand rather than its own. To us the most memorable Corvette has to be The second generation (C2) Corvette, Sting Ray.

To compete with VW Beatle Chevrolet introduced Corvair a compact automobile built in 1960–1969 It was the only American designed, mass-produced passenger car to feature a rear-mounted air-cooled engine. Corvair handling was deemed notoriously bad mainly due to Ralph Nader's Unsafe at Any Speed. Although, any handling issues were soon solved the reputation did stick.

With Pony / Muscle car mania taking over the Americans, following the introduction of Ford Mustang, Chevrolet came up with one of its most famous models Camaro. During the first year alone they managed to sell 220,906 Camaros.
