Chevrolet 3100 267 V8 1951

General description : CHOPPED, 267 V8, TH350 AUTO, PWR STEER/BRAKES, RUNS/DRIVES GR8, UNIQUE CRUISER!!

Custom trucks are all about bringing something unique to the party. This 1951 Chevrolet 3100 is distinct both inside and out, but it never loses the design touches that made this pickup an icon.
This is the right pickup to be chopped. After all, the 3100's long alligator hood and smooth bed cover combine with the custom low roof line to make this truck look like someone put it in the taffy puller. But that's far from the only custom touch. Polished Weld wheels, blue dot headlights, frenched taillights, custom roll pan, and a sporty tailgate – all of this makes for an unforgettable pickup. Even the truck bed has a full custom presentation with a cool upholstered pattern on the sides. It's all wrapped in a red that's so bold, they also used it for places traditionally reserved for bright work, like the front bumper and iconic grille. The total package is a vehicle that's unmistakably a classic Chevy pickup, as well as unquestionably a unique machine.
The bed design is also a preview of the interior. It's a full custom presentation with a split bench seat that has gray tweed and red piping. This nicely matches the custom door panels and dash. More than just look well-coordinated, this is exceptionally comfortable with a fold-down center armrest, cup holders, and an AM/FM/CD stereo. But the best treats are reserved just for you. There's a Colorado Customs polished aluminum steering wheel mounted on a tilt column. Beyond that, the full VDO gauge panel is set in a custom Chevy bow tie mounting for added distinction.
Under the hood is a 267 cubic-inch V8. Not only is that a displacement we rarely see anymore, but this also has been dressed correctly with plenty of polished components like the air topper, valve covers, fan shroud, and alternator. Plus, this V8 has some nice upgrades like the Holley four-barrel carburetor and performance intake. It's a full package that fires up readily and makes a nice rumble out of the dual exhaust. This custom pickup was built to be a true cruiser. That's why you have the upgraded Mustang II-style independent front suspension with upgraded coilovers. Plus, power steering, a three-speed automatic transmission, and front disc brakes make this an effortless classic.
Unique, custom, and comfortable – this vintage Chevy pickup offers a well-finished total package. So don't miss this cool chop-top truck. Call now!

About Chevrolet
Chevrolet aka Chevy, founded in 1911 by Louis Chevrolet and William C. Durant is the best selling and biggest brand by General Motors -mainly due to low pricing.

No wonder Chevy the "working man's car" has become such an iconic part of Americana in films and pop-culture.

When talking about Chevy one must not ignore Chevrolet small-block V8 the world's most produced engine that has been in production since 1955 and still going strong.

Surprisingly, "America's only sports car" Corvette was introduced under Chevrolet brand rather than its own. To us the most memorable Corvette has to be The second generation (C2) Corvette, Sting Ray.

To compete with VW Beatle Chevrolet introduced Corvair a compact automobile built in 1960–1969 It was the only American designed, mass-produced passenger car to feature a rear-mounted air-cooled engine. Corvair handling was deemed notoriously bad mainly due to Ralph Nader's Unsafe at Any Speed. Although, any handling issues were soon solved the reputation did stick.

With Pony / Muscle car mania taking over the Americans, following the introduction of Ford Mustang, Chevrolet came up with one of its most famous models Camaro. During the first year alone they managed to sell 220,906 Camaros.
