Description : Gateway Classic Cars of Louisville is proud to present this 1952 Chevrolet 3100 Pickup! The first major revamp since the war the advanced design series was billed as a bigger better and sleeker design than the AK series. This would be the first trucks to have any type of comfort in mind. One thing is for certain and that is this truck is not your grand dad's old farm truck. Here we have a '52 model. The two-tone silver and gray paint looks very sharp! Sherwin Williams Base Coat/Clear Coat. Owner has the paint codes. It has a raked looking going for it that gives a very solid stance. The gray leather and cloth interior looks sharp, goes well with the exterior tones and is in good order. Under the hood is a 350ci V8 mated to a turbo 350 3-speed automatic transmission. The truck runs, drives, and shifts out well. The restoration appears to have been done around '00-'01. The build is extensive, here are some highlights. The bed is from Mac Industry of St. Louis. Truck has painless wiring, Edelbrock 4bbl Carb, Sanders Headers, Vintage Heat/Air, Electric Fan, Walker Surefit Radiator/AC Combo, Bourge Steering Knuckles & Shaft, Fatman Independent Front End, '77 Camaro Rear End and brake shoes, front brakes from 80s Monte Carlo and so much more. Owner is providing a binder with build details (hand written), receipts and diagrams and more. Current owner has had her for over 54 years and acquired a private owner believed to be the original owner. The title is clean and clear and ready to be transferred into your name now! Don't miss your chance on this well built truck that has already won several trophies. About Chevrolet
Chevrolet aka Chevy, founded in 1911 by Louis Chevrolet and William C. Durant is the best selling and biggest brand by General Motors -mainly due to low pricing.

No wonder Chevy the "working man's car" has become such an iconic part of Americana in films and pop-culture.

When talking about Chevy one must not ignore Chevrolet small-block V8 the world's most produced engine that has been in production since 1955 and still going strong.

Surprisingly, "America's only sports car" Corvette was introduced under Chevrolet brand rather than its own. To us the most memorable Corvette has to be The second generation (C2) Corvette, Sting Ray.

To compete with VW Beatle Chevrolet introduced Corvair a compact automobile built in 1960–1969 It was the only American designed, mass-produced passenger car to feature a rear-mounted air-cooled engine. Corvair handling was deemed notoriously bad mainly due to Ralph Nader's Unsafe at Any Speed. Although, any handling issues were soon solved the reputation did stick.

With Pony / Muscle car mania taking over the Americans, following the introduction of Ford Mustang, Chevrolet came up with one of its most famous models Camaro. During the first year alone they managed to sell 220,906 Camaros.
