Description : Gateway classic cars of Nashville is very proud to digitally present to you this 1951 Chevrolet 3100 pickup. This sweet custom 3100 comes with a list of awards including C10 Nationals in Nashville truck of the year in 2021 and runner up in the same show in 2022. Now with most customs it is easy to see all the trick work that went into the build, but with this truck you could look for days and find new and inventive custom work. At first glance most will notice the slick Black Sapphire paint and stance but everywhere you look this truck has hours of thought and work in it. Nothing was left as is and good enough was not part of the vocabulary with the craftsmen who put blood sweat and I am sure tears into this project. Lets start with the frame, an S10 front clip was used to provide the front suspension and steering while the back half is pure custom. Slam specialties was the choice for the air ride system. The floor of the bed is electrical raised to access the fuel and air tanks. The choice of power for this Chevy 3100 is of course the LS based 6.0 liter that is fed fuel and air via a custom fabricated intake with a 92 millimeter throttle body, JEG's fuel rails and AN braided lines for fuel, power steering and even trans cooler lines. Sanderson shorty headers complete the look and performance. The trans of choice is a 4L80E so highway driving will not be a problem. The interior of this truck is amazing and almost completely custom using Bourbon pearl vinyl. The look is amazing, the ride smooth and power readily available with a touch of the right pedal the only draw back is that you have to be careful when loading gravel in the bed, joking this truck can haul a lot of things but I would never put gravel in this bed. Options for this award winning 1951 3100 T.O.T.Y. (truck of the year) include: Air conditioning, Power steering, brakes and windows, Tilt steering wheel, Blue tooth stereo, Seat belts, Radial tires and chrome rocket booster rims20X9 in front and 20X10 in rear. This is a one of a kind, masterpiece, award winning truck and it deserves a special place in a collection, will it be in yours?

About Chevrolet
Chevrolet aka Chevy, founded in 1911 by Louis Chevrolet and William C. Durant is the best selling and biggest brand by General Motors -mainly due to low pricing.

No wonder Chevy the "working man's car" has become such an iconic part of Americana in films and pop-culture.

When talking about Chevy one must not ignore Chevrolet small-block V8 the world's most produced engine that has been in production since 1955 and still going strong.

Surprisingly, "America's only sports car" Corvette was introduced under Chevrolet brand rather than its own. To us the most memorable Corvette has to be The second generation (C2) Corvette, Sting Ray.

To compete with VW Beatle Chevrolet introduced Corvair a compact automobile built in 1960–1969 It was the only American designed, mass-produced passenger car to feature a rear-mounted air-cooled engine. Corvair handling was deemed notoriously bad mainly due to Ralph Nader's Unsafe at Any Speed. Although, any handling issues were soon solved the reputation did stick.

With Pony / Muscle car mania taking over the Americans, following the introduction of Ford Mustang, Chevrolet came up with one of its most famous models Camaro. During the first year alone they managed to sell 220,906 Camaros.
