Replacing the Advance Design series, the “Task Force" aka Apache debuted in 1955 and ran through 1959. These highly sought-after trucks are highly collectible today. This 1959 model is in good running order. The Spies-Hecker turquoise and white paint looks really good and takes you back in time! The black vinyl interior complements the exterior and is in good order. Under the hood is a rebuilt Inline 6-cylinder engine mated to a 3-speed manual transmission on the column that we all know as “3-on-the-tree" with a GM overdrive option. She has good power and is a blast to drive! Current owner has had her for over 10 years and acquired from a private owner in Illinois. A former owner had this truck for over 40 years. Current owner states that this truck has had all mechanical and brakes gone through. Cab corners and lower front fender were replaced, body work performed by current owner. Digital pictures are available upon request of the truck prior to the current owner's work. Owner claims to the best of their knowledge that this truck was once used as a city truck in Illinois up to around 1970. It is titled as a 1959 Chevrolet 3100 and the title is clean and clear and ready to be transferred into your name now.
