For sale in our St. Louis Showroom is a low mile 1961 Chevrolet Bel Air 2 Door Sports Coupe. This 61’ Bel Air has been in the same family since it was bought new in 1961. It was parked in 1967 with 32,000 miles on the odometer. Over the next 18 years the car was driven just 4,000 miles, and in 1985 it was purchased by the current owner, the grandson of the original buyer. In the mid-80’s the Bel Air received a refreshed coat of paint on the bottom half of the car of the original Sea Mist Turquoise. Other than the respray, the car is original and maintains the survivor status. The vinyl interior features light and dark shades of green. The vinyl upholstery is original and not perfect but does show well considering its age of almost 60 years. The dash is no nonsense and to the point, it matches the color of the upholstery nicely. The original inline 6-cylinder engine still powers this old Bel Air and is mated to the original 2-speed Powerglide automatic transmission. The odometer reads 39,423, which represents the actual mileage on the car! Options for this 1961 Chevrolet Bel Air 2 Door Sports Coupe include: Vinyl Interior, Seat Belts, Hub Caps, and White Wall Radial Tires.
