Chevrolet Blazer 350 V8 1969

General description : 350 V8, TH350 AUTO, PWR STEER & BRAKE, 4X4, SOFT TOP, RETRO CRUISER, COOL TRUCK!

This is the vehicle that launched the legend. The 1969 Chevrolet Blazer K5 was the first year you could get your hands on the large 4x4 convertible, and so this is a rare V8-powered treat.
The first-generation Blazer just has a big and beefy presence, and that aggressive attitude is heightened even further with the color that looks close to Chevy's famous Hugger Orange. And we love the way the full black folding top contrasts against the bright color to make this look great even when the roof is in place. But the real appeal is not just about mixing a muscle car appearance with 4x4 prowess. We know your mind is racing about all the places you'll go in a cool full-size droptop SUV. After all, this is that perfect machine to see and be seen everywhere from the campsite to the beach – can't you just see your surfboard peeking out from between the roll bar already???
Inside, this one continues hints of muscle car flair with the SunPro tach in the center of the dash cluster, a grippy sports steering wheel, and a deep black interior. We even love the hint of attitude with the tap handle on the 4x4 selector. But there's also a more practical side. This one is really out to be an all-around cruiser with features like the AM/FM/CD stereo, cup holder center console, and a driver's seat that was re-padded to be all-day comfortable.
Maybe all of this go-fast appearance is due to the truck's heartbeat. This 350 cubic-inch V8 was rebuilt in 2011. And you can really tell it has been well-maintained ever since just by the way the shine and the color radiate from within the dark engine bay. But more than just looks, it has been upgraded throughout, including a bored .60 over kit, four-barrel carburetor, and Edelbrock intake. This muscle symphony exits through a rumbling dual exhaust system. But more than just power for the streets, you're going to love how this V8 truly delivers the muscle needed to be a go-anywhere 4x4. That's why you also have a two-speed transfer case, lifted stance, and Warn locking hubs in the front. And no matter if you're on the street or trail, you'll appreciate great anytime driving features like the TH350 three-speed automatic transmission, smooth power steering, and front disc brakes.
A 4x4 convertible with plenty of muscle car appeal...see, we told you this was the perfect all-around classic. And since they only produced 4,935 examples in its inaugural year (nearly half a century ago) you're looking at great history to go with your beefy presence. A cool Blazer like this won't wait for long. Call now!

About Chevrolet
Chevrolet aka Chevy, founded in 1911 by Louis Chevrolet and William C. Durant is the best selling and biggest brand by General Motors -mainly due to low pricing.

No wonder Chevy the "working man's car" has become such an iconic part of Americana in films and pop-culture.

When talking about Chevy one must not ignore Chevrolet small-block V8 the world's most produced engine that has been in production since 1955 and still going strong.

Surprisingly, "America's only sports car" Corvette was introduced under Chevrolet brand rather than its own. To us the most memorable Corvette has to be The second generation (C2) Corvette, Sting Ray.

To compete with VW Beatle Chevrolet introduced Corvair a compact automobile built in 1960–1969 It was the only American designed, mass-produced passenger car to feature a rear-mounted air-cooled engine. Corvair handling was deemed notoriously bad mainly due to Ralph Nader's Unsafe at Any Speed. Although, any handling issues were soon solved the reputation did stick.

With Pony / Muscle car mania taking over the Americans, following the introduction of Ford Mustang, Chevrolet came up with one of its most famous models Camaro. During the first year alone they managed to sell 220,906 Camaros.
