Chevrolet C10 1987

General description : 454 V8, 700R4 AUTO, PWR STEER & BRAKE, CLEAN IN/OUT, RUNS STRONG, GR8 BUILD!!

With a bold presence and plenty of exhaust note to hint at the big 454 V8, this 1987 Chevrolet C10 certainly earns its Harley-Davidson custom packaging.
The stepside bed has a great flared fender appearance that really has helped start the vintage custom truck movement, and a bold red really brings that out. But there's also a lot more time invested in making this whole pickup look exceptionally unique. You can see it up front with the mirror-like chrome bumper and an aggressive billet grille. The addition of a cowl hood hints at the big power underneath. Along the sides, the smooth body with a crisp crease line that erases decades of going work. In the rear there's more chrome on the bumper, but the real treat is the new oak wood in the bed. This is particularly important, because 1987 was the last year for this generation, and thus, the last year Chevy would actually install lumber in your pickup bed. It's all finished off with an aggressive stance thanks to those classic 15-inch Cragar SS wheels. So we can see why this Chevy carries the Harley-Davidson logo on the sides and airbrushed on the tailgate. After all, whether you're a lover of the motorcycles or not, you instantly understand that both have a standout presence.
Inside the Harley theme continues. It starts with the comfortable velour seat that has the H-D logo stitched in the center. This is repeated on the door panels and the steering wheel. Even the map pockets have a side saddle bag appearance for a great motorcycle touch. When combined with the dark muscle car-like black of the interior, the result is quite striking. And more than just the custom elements, these Chevys were great for the driver. They were truly focused on you, and so the dash panel surrounds the driver with everything from the factory full gauge package to the upgraded AM/FM/CD stereo. And while there are provisions for air conditioning, we really know you're going to love getting you breezes by opening the side vent windows and sliding the rear glass. After all, Harley people know nature provides the best ventilation.
Pop the hood and you'll see a tidy and aggressive 454 cubic-inch V8. And yes, the Harley-Davidson detail was even added to the valve covers to give this custom a full uniform package. This powerful big block has been further enhanced by an Edelbrock four-barrel carburetor and Edelbrock Performer intake. The big powerhouse feeds the Flowmaster dual exhaust to give the kind of rumble that would make a Harley owner proud. And because you would want to give this one the long-range cruising capability like a good bike, it has a 700R4 four-speed automatic transmission with highway-friendly overdrive. Add in power steering and front disc brakes, and this one is nice for cruising around town, too.
Complete with original owner's manual packet, you're looking at a significant Chevy pickup that was given a full Harley-Davidson custom transformation. It's amazing you can get something this unique and powerful for such an affordable price. That's why we know it will be gone soon. Don't miss out, call today!

About Chevrolet
Chevrolet aka Chevy, founded in 1911 by Louis Chevrolet and William C. Durant is the best selling and biggest brand by General Motors -mainly due to low pricing.

No wonder Chevy the "working man's car" has become such an iconic part of Americana in films and pop-culture.

When talking about Chevy one must not ignore Chevrolet small-block V8 the world's most produced engine that has been in production since 1955 and still going strong.

Surprisingly, "America's only sports car" Corvette was introduced under Chevrolet brand rather than its own. To us the most memorable Corvette has to be The second generation (C2) Corvette, Sting Ray.

To compete with VW Beatle Chevrolet introduced Corvair a compact automobile built in 1960–1969 It was the only American designed, mass-produced passenger car to feature a rear-mounted air-cooled engine. Corvair handling was deemed notoriously bad mainly due to Ralph Nader's Unsafe at Any Speed. Although, any handling issues were soon solved the reputation did stick.

With Pony / Muscle car mania taking over the Americans, following the introduction of Ford Mustang, Chevrolet came up with one of its most famous models Camaro. During the first year alone they managed to sell 220,906 Camaros.
