Chevrolet C10 350 CID V8 1979

General description : This cool 1979 Chevrolet C10 is for sale in our Louisville KY showroom. The C series line of trucks was extremely successful for the GM company. Though they had multiple revisions throughout its 40-year run the full-size series was one of the longest running lines in auto history. The 80s seen a huge increase in the amount of people customizing these trucks. The mentality that a truck was just simply used for work was a thing of the past. This example has that old school custom look with the black paint showing extremely well. The Graphics on the side help to break up the paint while enhancing the step-side bed. The louvers on the hood are something that you dont see much of anymore with many considering a lost art form. The mag wheels are in extremely clean condition with the fronts being 225/70/15s and the rears having a much wider 295/50/15 giving the truck that aggressive look. Under the hood is a very healthy 350 small block that has plenty of power to get this American Classic down the road! The Edelbrock intake allows for more power through the mid and higher RPM range. The 12-bolt Posi Rear end has a set of 3.73 gears giving the perfect mix of down low power and high-end speed allowing for some highway cruising.Lets be honest though a nice smokey 2 wheel burnout don't hurt either. The interior of the cab is clean and rather comfortable with the springs giving just the right amount of support. The headliner is custom with it having some custom molds and then covered with the matching soft cloth material. If you have been wanting a unique vehicle that is a blast to drive, this great driving truck is exactly what you need! Options on this 1979 Chevy C10 include; AM/FM/Cassette, Cloth Interior, Seat Belts, Mag Wheels and Radial Tires. About Chevrolet
Chevrolet aka Chevy, founded in 1911 by Louis Chevrolet and William C. Durant is the best selling and biggest brand by General Motors -mainly due to low pricing.

No wonder Chevy the "working man's car" has become such an iconic part of Americana in films and pop-culture.

When talking about Chevy one must not ignore Chevrolet small-block V8 the world's most produced engine that has been in production since 1955 and still going strong.

Surprisingly, "America's only sports car" Corvette was introduced under Chevrolet brand rather than its own. To us the most memorable Corvette has to be The second generation (C2) Corvette, Sting Ray.

To compete with VW Beatle Chevrolet introduced Corvair a compact automobile built in 1960–1969 It was the only American designed, mass-produced passenger car to feature a rear-mounted air-cooled engine. Corvair handling was deemed notoriously bad mainly due to Ralph Nader's Unsafe at Any Speed. Although, any handling issues were soon solved the reputation did stick.

With Pony / Muscle car mania taking over the Americans, following the introduction of Ford Mustang, Chevrolet came up with one of its most famous models Camaro. During the first year alone they managed to sell 220,906 Camaros.
