Chevrolet C10 350 V8 1972

General description : VERY SOLID, HIGH QUALITY RESTORATION! 350 V8, AUTO, AC, PS/B W/ FRT DISC, NICE!

This 1972 Chevrolet C10 is one exceedingly cool, well turned out vintage truck. A body-off restoration undertaken a few years back has left it not only looking great both inside and out, but also running like a champion. It's well suited to handle anything from drawing admiring nods on the boulevard to hitting the highway for road trips.
If you could travel back in time and run this C10 past the crew manning the assembly line that put this venerable pickup together, they'd no doubt offer a hearty thumbs-up, because it's about as sterling an endorsement for their efforts as you're likely to find. The bright red paint it now wears is looking strong and confers a sort of aftermarket yet tasteful vibe, offering a nice even shine from front to back. As far as exterior fittings are concerned, all the boxes have been checked - you'll find entirely new bumpers in front and back, every piece of black body molding has been replaced and clear glass surrounds the cabin for a fresh look. The subtly modded front end sports a great looking grille that sits between headlight casings that look to have recently been replaced, and all badging and emblems - from the gold Chevy bowtie up front to the Chevrolet lettering that sits against a contrasting black background on the rear liftgate - are looking their best. As the front fenders transition to the cab and back to the bed area, you'll find this Chevy's alignment very much on point as well.
The black and red interior mixes cloth and vinyl to good effect. It looks very sharp and well-crafted, with a plushly padded bench seat that sports houndstooth accents on its fresh looking surface. A lot of prep work obviously went in before the interior was repainted, as every steel surface you view - from the door frames with their fresh-looking panels, to the dash panel up front - is very smooth. C10s of this era had instrument clusters that featured very cool, textured inserts, so it's nice to see this one in good form, also freshly painted and featuring an assortment of gauges that sit behind clear lenses and function properly, sitting just beyond the Grant GT steering wheel. An AM/FM stereo with MP3 capability has been well-fitted into the center of the dash to handle your audio needs and the factory air conditioning is already on board and blows with plenty of force. The bed area in back is in good order too, with a sturdy liner that's performed its protective duties well.
A 350 cubic inch V8 sits at the center of the well-detailed engine bay, sporting an Edelbrock intake manifold and 4-barrel carb that sits under a compact air cleaner on top and a pair of chrome valve covers on its sides. It's been armed with a mild cam - nothing drastic, just enough to add a little power to the equation. The powerplant starts promptly, sounding great through its long tube headers that lead to Glasspack-style mufflers, and is paired with a 3-speed automatic TH350 transmission. This well put together vintage truck also features power steering and power brakes for easy navigation and low-effort stops and will no doubt attract admirers as it rolls forth on its 15" steel wheels wrapped with National XT Renegade tires. Below, the undercarriage looks reassuringly solid.
With its outstanding looks teaming with a very road-ready condition, this 1972 Chevrolet C10 would be a great acquisition for any classic truck enthusiast. Call today!

About Chevrolet
Chevrolet aka Chevy, founded in 1911 by Louis Chevrolet and William C. Durant is the best selling and biggest brand by General Motors -mainly due to low pricing.

No wonder Chevy the "working man's car" has become such an iconic part of Americana in films and pop-culture.

When talking about Chevy one must not ignore Chevrolet small-block V8 the world's most produced engine that has been in production since 1955 and still going strong.

Surprisingly, "America's only sports car" Corvette was introduced under Chevrolet brand rather than its own. To us the most memorable Corvette has to be The second generation (C2) Corvette, Sting Ray.

To compete with VW Beatle Chevrolet introduced Corvair a compact automobile built in 1960–1969 It was the only American designed, mass-produced passenger car to feature a rear-mounted air-cooled engine. Corvair handling was deemed notoriously bad mainly due to Ralph Nader's Unsafe at Any Speed. Although, any handling issues were soon solved the reputation did stick.

With Pony / Muscle car mania taking over the Americans, following the introduction of Ford Mustang, Chevrolet came up with one of its most famous models Camaro. During the first year alone they managed to sell 220,906 Camaros.
