General description : 1972 Chevrolet C10 Short Bed Pickup finished in Hugger Orange with a Cream Vinyl Bench Seat. Complete Frame-Off Restoration by Mike Dorgan. Powered by a 350 cubic inch V8 and backed by a 4-Speed Automatic Transmission. This was a 6-Year Custom Build project that was completed in 2000. The C10 is a classic and one of the most sought-after trucks by collectors today. This example has been finished perfectly and it a quality show car. It features many upgrades from its Frame-Off build.The build consists of; Chassis from a 1971 GMC Suburban - Tailgate, 1968 Front Body including Bumper, Grille, Hood, and Headlights, 1972 Body including Cab and Bed, Complete Paint Job in 1999, Rebuilt 1974 350c.i. Engine (Forged Pistons, Comp Cams, Balanced and Blue Printed, Speed Demon Barry Grant Carb 750cm, Ported Vortec Heads, and Sanderson headers), 2.5 Exhaust with Dynamax Muffler, 4-Speed Automatic Transmission (GM 700 R4 with Overdrive), Boyd Coddington 17 Wheels, Fiber Glass Tonneau Cover, Custom Suspension (Bell Tech Front Spindles 2, 4.5 Spring in the Front, 6 Springs in the Rear, Front and Rear Sway Bars), All Shocks Replaced in 2014, Power Brakes (Front Disc, Rear Drum, Dual Diagram Brake Booster, All Metal Stainless Brake Lines), and a Kenwood Head Unit.Only 2,500 Miles on rebuilt Transmission from 2008 and only 2 Owners Since Custom Build.
