Chevrolet C10 Silverado 1983

General description : A cool head turner that celebrates blue collar swagger, this choice Silverado capitalizes on timeless design and universal appeal. Whether you're a diehard Chevy fan, an old school truck lover or just a curious buyer who's looking for something traditional, it's a cool classic that's sure to please!
Wrapping smooth Midnight Blue Metallic 2-stage around a detailed, frame-up restoration, this super clean Chevy has spent all its 36 years right here in Eden, North Carolina. Decidedly intermediate when compared to today's massive full-size pickups, the truck sports a quintessentially boxy profile. That symmetrical style is augmented with polished mirrors, a color-keyed grille, factory-tint glass, tough bumper guards and a vintage dealer plaque. And fit and finish is exactly what you would expect from a well-maintained family heirloom.
Power comes courtesy of a stalwart, 305 cubic inch LG4 V8 that, like the rest of this C10, is just as the factory intended. That engine is backed by a smooth Turbo-Hydramatic 350 3-speed, which makes excellent use of a tough 10-bolt. Naturally, there's an independent front and solid axle rear suspension that's lucid and ready to roll. Factory power steering leads power-assisted front disc and rear drum brakes. And in front of those brakes, second generation Chevrolet Rally Wheels spin a quartet of 255/70R15 BF Goodrich Radial T/As around stainless trim rings and bowtie-branded center caps.
Between the doors, tight Blue vinyl dresses a broad bench seat that's centered in a tastefully appointed cabin. That throne faces a straight, silver-trimmed dash, which founds fully rebuilt telemetry over factory air conditioning and correct Delco-GM audio. The driver spins a Chevrolet-branded steering wheel. And all that retro goodness is framed in fade-free carpet and ornate, crack-free door panels.
Whether it's simple nostalgia or their long list of extremely useful virtues, one thing is certain: trucks NEVER go out of style. And when they're maintained this well, they seem to never fade away. In the market for something cool? Looking for something traditional? Yearning for something that, unlike so many resto-mods and modern cars, hasn't lost one ounce of its intended purpose or charm? Don't miss your chance to claim this sweet Chevy Square Body!

About Chevrolet
Chevrolet aka Chevy, founded in 1911 by Louis Chevrolet and William C. Durant is the best selling and biggest brand by General Motors -mainly due to low pricing.

No wonder Chevy the "working man's car" has become such an iconic part of Americana in films and pop-culture.

When talking about Chevy one must not ignore Chevrolet small-block V8 the world's most produced engine that has been in production since 1955 and still going strong.

Surprisingly, "America's only sports car" Corvette was introduced under Chevrolet brand rather than its own. To us the most memorable Corvette has to be The second generation (C2) Corvette, Sting Ray.

To compete with VW Beatle Chevrolet introduced Corvair a compact automobile built in 1960–1969 It was the only American designed, mass-produced passenger car to feature a rear-mounted air-cooled engine. Corvair handling was deemed notoriously bad mainly due to Ralph Nader's Unsafe at Any Speed. Although, any handling issues were soon solved the reputation did stick.

With Pony / Muscle car mania taking over the Americans, following the introduction of Ford Mustang, Chevrolet came up with one of its most famous models Camaro. During the first year alone they managed to sell 220,906 Camaros.
