Chevrolet C10 Pickup Truck 1969

General description : There's just something about old school pickups that's universally appealing. To us, they're clean, straightforward manifestations of the best aspects of classic car ownership. And it seems many enthusiasts agree, as trucks like this timeless Chevy have quickly become some of our hottest sellers. Mixing 454 cubic inches of big block might with an upgraded chassis, a tough TCI 4-speed and show-stopping aesthetics, this sweet C10 is your ticket to all-American bliss!
Fully sorted and ready to roll, this super cool Chevy is the beneficiary of a quality, body-on restoration. Under the truck's rich 2-stage, a solid fuselage hangs clean panels that appear straight and well aligned. And that body's combination of great reflections and flat surfaces suggest quality certainly took precedence over time. At the front of the truck, a traditional Chevrolet grille hangs clear parking lamps between traditional headlights and a polished bumper. Above that grille, a domed hood fronts a tinted greenhouse, which rolls 1-piece side glass behind capped but functional wipers. At the sides of that glass, a script-free profile centers polished door handles between fresh marker lamps. And at the back of that profile, a tight tonneau joins a massaged tailgate to seal a lined bed above a second polished bumper.
Pop the hood and you'll find a reliable, 454 cubic inch Chevrolet big block that was professionally rebuilt by Mooresville, North Carolina's Gibbons Motorsports in May of 2019. Revs are created when a tasteful, Chevrolet-themed air cleaner floats wind into a hot Holley carburetor and a clean Holley intake. Chevy-themed valve covers hang a bowtie-branded breather above iron heads, an iron block and heat-wrapped headers. Those headers breathe thanks to a hydraulic roller cam and hydraulic roller lifters. A modern HEI distributor shoots spark through loomed MSD Super Conductor plug wires. A smooth serpentine drive spins an aluminum water pump between a monochromatic alternator and a monochromatic AC compressor. And an efficient aluminum radiator plays well with a duo of electric puller fans. Despite being a retrofitted piece, the mill looks right at home in the truck's Gloss Black engine compartment. Details like billet fluid reservoirs, a Holley fuel filter and quality CPP brake components mix first-rate looks with first-rate functionality. And it all adds up to 511 dyno-proven horsepower and 562 lb./ft. of hearty torque.
Behind that trusty powerplant, a dressed 700R4 4-speed, sourced directly from TCI, spins an aluminum-capped 12-bolt axle that's finished with an open differential. Everything rolls on a familiar, factory-style suspension that's been upgraded with a bigger sway bar, a better crossmember and beefier trailing arms. Modern power steering makes parking easy and turns a cinch. Power-assisted calipers clamp drilled and slotted rotors to provide quick stops. The aforementioned headers feed 2.5-inch, aluminized pipes, which employ bold Flowmaster mufflers. And power meets the pavement through polished Billet Specialties blades, which twist 275/45R20 Goodyear Eagle GTIIs.
Swivel the doors and you'll reveal a tasteful custom cockpit that's classy in all the right ways. Fresh tan leather wraps a modern bench seat on piped Daytona Carpet. In front of that seat, a body-matched dash hangs teal-letter telemetry beside cool air conditioning and discreet RetroSound audio. Materials err on the side of premium, with attractive side panels fronting swift power windows and secure power door locks. And in front of the driver, a leather-wrapped Lecarra steering wheel laps a polished, tilting column.
Perpetually cool and mechanically fulfilling, this awesome Chevy is an appealing take on the traditional truck concept. Combining acute restoration with proven power, it presents the rare opportunity to land a truly timeless classic that easily doubles as a well-sorted road warrior. Don't miss your chance to own this awesome C10!

About Chevrolet
Chevrolet aka Chevy, founded in 1911 by Louis Chevrolet and William C. Durant is the best selling and biggest brand by General Motors -mainly due to low pricing.

No wonder Chevy the "working man's car" has become such an iconic part of Americana in films and pop-culture.

When talking about Chevy one must not ignore Chevrolet small-block V8 the world's most produced engine that has been in production since 1955 and still going strong.

Surprisingly, "America's only sports car" Corvette was introduced under Chevrolet brand rather than its own. To us the most memorable Corvette has to be The second generation (C2) Corvette, Sting Ray.

To compete with VW Beatle Chevrolet introduced Corvair a compact automobile built in 1960–1969 It was the only American designed, mass-produced passenger car to feature a rear-mounted air-cooled engine. Corvair handling was deemed notoriously bad mainly due to Ralph Nader's Unsafe at Any Speed. Although, any handling issues were soon solved the reputation did stick.

With Pony / Muscle car mania taking over the Americans, following the introduction of Ford Mustang, Chevrolet came up with one of its most famous models Camaro. During the first year alone they managed to sell 220,906 Camaros.
