Chevrolet C10 1963

General description : One of the biggest truths in automotive history is that trucks are cool. It's the reason the Ford F-150 has been America's best-selling vehicle for 43 years running, and it's the reason an increasing amount of classic car enthusiasts are buying hot rodded C10s and tricked out F100s. That universal and apparently boundless appeal means putting a little money on a clean classic like this cool Chevy is a great idea. A well-restored resto-mod that mixes a modern drivetrain with modern air conditioning and timeless aesthetics, this awesome pickup is a great way to cruise away the weekends. And if you're in the market for some standout Americana, it's a perfect candidate for miles of parade and years of display!
THERE'S NO STYLE LIKE '60S STYLE!
Sorted, solid and ready to roll, this sweet Action Line C10 is the beneficiary of a detailed, ground-up restoration that obviously involved a lot of time and money. That reboot makes excellent use of a Mod combination of Champagne and White 2-stage. And that 2-stage is traced by a stylish array of custom pinstripes. At the front of the truck, a polished grille centers a broad 'CHEVROLET' script between clean headlights, LED parking lamps and a polished bumper. Above that grille, a sculpted hood fronts polished wipers, which clear a tinted greenhouse that's decked in classy Custom stainless. At the sides of that glass, factory mirrors reflect a retro chic profile that's finished with traditional door handles and vivid Chevrolet 10 emblems. At the center of that profile, stainless-trimmed wood hides a relocated fuel filler. And at the back of the truck, a second polished bumper frames a bright tailgate, LED taillights and retrofitted reverse lamps.
THERE'S NOTHING MORE CHEVY THAN A SMALL BLOCK
Activate the truck's billet Eddie Motorsports hood supports and you'll find 350 cubic inches of proven Chevy small block that mixes modern reliability with old school fun! At that top of that trusty iron block, a tall Chevrolet air cleaner feeds wind to an electronically-choked Edelbrock carburetor, which rides a polished intake. At the back of that intake, a hot HEI distributor swirls fire around color-keyed Chevrolet valve covers with the help of loomed Taylor plug wires. Those covers balance polished Chevrolet breathers opposite iron Vortec heads and coated block hugger headers. A billet Concept One serpentine drive spins a polished water pump between polished power steering, a polished AC compressor and a polished Powermaster alternator. A big Be Cool radiator floats an electric puller fan beside a polished expansion tank. And the smooth, Satin Black engine bay is spiced with niceties like trick dipsticks, polished brake components and a coated fuel pump.
RESTORED TO BE BETTER
Bottom-side, a restored factory frame rides a thoughtfully upgraded suspension that complements lowering springs, lowering spindles and lowering blocks with a full CPP truck arm rear-clip. The 350's power flows through a reliable 700R4 4-speed, which twists torque to a familiar 10-bolt axle that's fitted with an Open Differential. Turns come courtesy of fluid power steering. Stops are led by bright CPP calipers, which clinch drilled and slotted rotors in front of factory drums. Aluminized pipes funnel spent gases through Magnaflow mufflers and polished stainless tips. A custom fuel tank provides a steady flow of fossils. And everything rolls on red-trimmed American Racing Torq Thrust IIs, which spin 245/45R20 Cooper Zeons in front of 275/40R20 Cooper Zeons.
CUSTOM AND CLEAN
Between this Chevy's pinstriped door jambs, rich, two-tone upholstery crawls across a factory bench seat. In front of that throne, a painted dash hangs stylish billet trim around Vintage Air conditioning, crisp Pioneer audio and sedate Omega Kustom Instruments telemetry. Modern power windows frame custom door panels. And the driver spins a reproduction Chevrolet Rally Wheel.
The classic truck market has never been better, and offerings like this cool C10 are a perfect testament why. With a reliable, all-American drivetrain, a comfortable interior and attractive factory lines, this Chevy is guaranteed to gain fans everywhere it goes. Looking for a standout cruiser that'll provide years of great memories? Don't miss the chance to add this sweet pickup to your collection!

About Chevrolet
Chevrolet aka Chevy, founded in 1911 by Louis Chevrolet and William C. Durant is the best selling and biggest brand by General Motors -mainly due to low pricing.

No wonder Chevy the "working man's car" has become such an iconic part of Americana in films and pop-culture.

When talking about Chevy one must not ignore Chevrolet small-block V8 the world's most produced engine that has been in production since 1955 and still going strong.

Surprisingly, "America's only sports car" Corvette was introduced under Chevrolet brand rather than its own. To us the most memorable Corvette has to be The second generation (C2) Corvette, Sting Ray.

To compete with VW Beatle Chevrolet introduced Corvair a compact automobile built in 1960–1969 It was the only American designed, mass-produced passenger car to feature a rear-mounted air-cooled engine. Corvair handling was deemed notoriously bad mainly due to Ralph Nader's Unsafe at Any Speed. Although, any handling issues were soon solved the reputation did stick.

With Pony / Muscle car mania taking over the Americans, following the introduction of Ford Mustang, Chevrolet came up with one of its most famous models Camaro. During the first year alone they managed to sell 220,906 Camaros.
