Chevrolet C10 1971

General description : Description
This 1971 Chevrolet C10 has the bold look of a street machine and the V8 power to back it up, too. As you dig deeper into the details you see a clean classic truck with the right custom elements for both show and go.
The blue metallic paint sets the premium and flashy feel in this classic pickup. When the sunlight hits it, the shine really highlights the crisp cresses of the sheetmetal. And the chrome bumpers amplify this truck's total brilliance. The premium feeling is heightened by the full body trim, and the black accenting within it goes with the tinted windows to really give this pickup a deeper tone. Plus, there are more great custom elements, like the LED taillights, smooth tailgate, and side exhaust tips that give this a distinct personality. And it's all set on a large 20-inch US Mags alloys on a lowered suspension for a nice and sporty stance.
There were investments inside, too. But where the exterior exudes its performance flair, the interior seems to be about well-integrated comfort and style. The gray vinyl bench seat has a fresh look, and it coordinates with the door panels and dash pad. The exterior blue returns on the metal pieces for nice uniform touch, and it reminds you of this truck's sporty intentions. This same feeling goes for the upgraded sports steering wheel and the large tach mounted in the center of the gauges.
The engine bay has a bit of flair with the metallic blue on the smooth inner fenders and firewall. At the heart is a well-built small block V8. It's upgraded with performance pieces like a Quick four-barrel carburetor, Moroso carb spacer, Trick Flow carb linkage, and a Pro Comp aluminum intake. All the right hardy pieces are in place, including aluminum fabricated valve covers, upgraded pulleys, steel braded fuel lines, AN fittings, and an Optima red top battery. And headers add power while contributing to the sweet rumble of the Flowmaster dual exhaust. The TH400 three-speed automatic transmission is both stout and smooth as it feeds the 12-bolt rear end. The C10s are really sought-after because they include the trailing arm rear suspension, which helps makes these Chevys ride much smoother than most other vintage pickups. Add this to power steering, power brakes w/discs up front, and modern rubber at all four corners, and this peppy pickup that's easy to enjoy.
This is a custom C10 that was built to enjoy. So don't miss this sharp Chevy. Call now!

About Chevrolet
Chevrolet aka Chevy, founded in 1911 by Louis Chevrolet and William C. Durant is the best selling and biggest brand by General Motors -mainly due to low pricing.

No wonder Chevy the "working man's car" has become such an iconic part of Americana in films and pop-culture.

When talking about Chevy one must not ignore Chevrolet small-block V8 the world's most produced engine that has been in production since 1955 and still going strong.

Surprisingly, "America's only sports car" Corvette was introduced under Chevrolet brand rather than its own. To us the most memorable Corvette has to be The second generation (C2) Corvette, Sting Ray.

To compete with VW Beatle Chevrolet introduced Corvair a compact automobile built in 1960–1969 It was the only American designed, mass-produced passenger car to feature a rear-mounted air-cooled engine. Corvair handling was deemed notoriously bad mainly due to Ralph Nader's Unsafe at Any Speed. Although, any handling issues were soon solved the reputation did stick.

With Pony / Muscle car mania taking over the Americans, following the introduction of Ford Mustang, Chevrolet came up with one of its most famous models Camaro. During the first year alone they managed to sell 220,906 Camaros.
