Chevrolet C10 Custom 350 V8 1970

General description : Description
This 1970 Chevrolet C10 custom is a very cool representation of a truck restored to remain a cool classic. Shining paint, a comfy A/C interior, and what is believed to be the original V8 power all come together on a pickup that also has a terrific story.
This truck is looking for its fourth owner, but the story we're told suggests it hasn't gone very far in its life. It was first passed from father to son, and then to the son's neighbor. So it has the feeling of a pickup that was admired by a close circle. It also explains why you get such a well-done vintage presentation today. You can tell that the olive green paint is part of a later refresh just by the way it shines. The body lines are quite straight, and the full-length trim helps to highlight that. Chrome bumpers, a wide grille, good trim, and Rally wheels all add to the well-done look. Plus, the color matched locking bed cover makes for a nice way to keep the bed looking weather-tight and carefully take cargo.
This was born with a gold cloth trim upholstery, and that makes for a timelessly attractive color combo against the exterior deep green. It was even updated later in life to make sure the seat, door panels, and carpeting all feel plush. There are well-integrated upgrades for added comfort, like the retro-style AM/FM stereo w/cassette and the factory air conditioning blowing cold with modern R134a refrigerant. Of course, you'll really want to get most of your breezes just by opening the side vent windows and sliding the rear glass for a proper pickup draft.
The engine is a 350 cubic-inch V8, as advertised on the front fenders. And because this truck has kept such a small circle within its life thus far, this is even believed to be the numbers-matching block. It has a stock look with the bright Chevy orange motor, color matched valve covers, and a black air topper. It fires up nicely as this inhales deeply from the four-barrel carburetor. And the updated dual exhaust makes a nice tune. The trailing arm rear suspension makes the C10 a good cruiser. Plus, you have great anytime driving features like the three-speed automatic transmission, power steering, power brakes, and wide BF Goodrich T/A rubber at all four corners.
Complete with the owner's manual packet, this is a nicely presented pickup that has all the features you want - including a great story to tell. Call now!

About Chevrolet
Chevrolet aka Chevy, founded in 1911 by Louis Chevrolet and William C. Durant is the best selling and biggest brand by General Motors -mainly due to low pricing.

No wonder Chevy the "working man's car" has become such an iconic part of Americana in films and pop-culture.

When talking about Chevy one must not ignore Chevrolet small-block V8 the world's most produced engine that has been in production since 1955 and still going strong.

Surprisingly, "America's only sports car" Corvette was introduced under Chevrolet brand rather than its own. To us the most memorable Corvette has to be The second generation (C2) Corvette, Sting Ray.

To compete with VW Beatle Chevrolet introduced Corvair a compact automobile built in 1960–1969 It was the only American designed, mass-produced passenger car to feature a rear-mounted air-cooled engine. Corvair handling was deemed notoriously bad mainly due to Ralph Nader's Unsafe at Any Speed. Although, any handling issues were soon solved the reputation did stick.

With Pony / Muscle car mania taking over the Americans, following the introduction of Ford Mustang, Chevrolet came up with one of its most famous models Camaro. During the first year alone they managed to sell 220,906 Camaros.
