Description : Gateway Classic Cars of St. Louis is proud to present this 1967 Chevrolet C10 Shortbed!

Looking inside, underneath, and all around this truck nearly every component appears to be like new! There is little paper trail documentation for the truck as it was purchased at an auction roughly two years ago.

Looking at the brand names on nearly every part we don't need a build sheet to tell us this is a nice ride. The odometer shows just over 500 miles and the seller believes this is the mileage put on the truck since being rebuilt. The seller also noted that the engine and transmission were rebuilt fresh as part of the process as well. Again, since the seller purchased at auction there is no paper trail for these items.

After purchasing the truck the seller made a couple small modifications including a proper sized plastic coolant overflow (the metal cylinder is just for show) and the Holley Sniper EFI kit to make the traditional chevy small block even more reliable! The exterior color choice is a fantastic shade of red! The mirror are custom and have LED turn signal indicators that work with the blinkers and hazards - a VERY tasteful touch!

The interior is tastefully customers with screwdriver handles for blinkers and shift linkage, we really love this aesthetic. The gauges are replaced with fitting but stylish faces displaying speed, tachometer, fuel, volt meter, time, oil pressure, and coolant temperature. Above that is the Holley EFI readout out showing air fuel ratios and many other goodies. The AC blows cold and a retrosound type radio is hooked up to modern speakers to bring this truck up to date!

This is one of the nicest trucks to come through our doors and we are proud to have it. This was our seller's forever truck, but life dictates another direction. Right now it's hard to get parts in a timely fashion, or get a reliable builder. This one appears to be finished!

About Chevrolet
Chevrolet aka Chevy, founded in 1911 by Louis Chevrolet and William C. Durant is the best selling and biggest brand by General Motors -mainly due to low pricing.

No wonder Chevy the "working man's car" has become such an iconic part of Americana in films and pop-culture.

When talking about Chevy one must not ignore Chevrolet small-block V8 the world's most produced engine that has been in production since 1955 and still going strong.

Surprisingly, "America's only sports car" Corvette was introduced under Chevrolet brand rather than its own. To us the most memorable Corvette has to be The second generation (C2) Corvette, Sting Ray.

To compete with VW Beatle Chevrolet introduced Corvair a compact automobile built in 1960–1969 It was the only American designed, mass-produced passenger car to feature a rear-mounted air-cooled engine. Corvair handling was deemed notoriously bad mainly due to Ralph Nader's Unsafe at Any Speed. Although, any handling issues were soon solved the reputation did stick.

With Pony / Muscle car mania taking over the Americans, following the introduction of Ford Mustang, Chevrolet came up with one of its most famous models Camaro. During the first year alone they managed to sell 220,906 Camaros.
