Description : Gateway Classic Cars Houston showroom is pleased to offer this gorgeous black 1965 Chevrolet C10 pickup. With its modern chrome/black exterior motif, and the addition of dark gray to the chrome/black on the interior, you have yourself a nicely color-coordinated vintage hauler. A potent 350 CID V8 lurks underhood and provides more pep that it ever had back when it was new. The 350 is backed by a 3-speed automatic transmission, and is topped by a big 4BBL carb, and is equipped with HEI ignition and coated Hedman headers, so it's ready for some serious road trips. Its dual exhaust system sounds terrific on the road and provides just the right muscular growl. This '65 C10 has been upgraded with front disc brakes, and its 20-inch Riddler aluminum wheels really add some pizazz to the exterior look. Some P275/R40 performance radials up front, and 295/R40 out back skin the Ridlers, and they provide lots of grip, especially on dry pavement. The chrome is nice and bright and adds a tasteful contrast to the exterior. The oak planks in the bed are almost too nice to haul stuff with, but they definitely add some nice pop to the truck...just grab yourself a nice rubber bed mat before you head to the car show with all of your stuff in the bed! Inside, one will immediately notice the two-tone bench seat and matching door trim. The bench is covered in a high-grade synthetic leather with ventilated Alcantara-type inserts, providing plenty of friction to keep the passengers in their respective assigned seats, even if you're getting a little frisky through the curves. This 1965 C10 comes with Aluminum wheels, Air Conditioning, AM Radio, Performance Radial Tires, Power Brakes, Power Steering, and Tilt Steering wheel. These mid- to late 1960's trucks are hot right now, so don't get caught without one!

About Chevrolet
Chevrolet aka Chevy, founded in 1911 by Louis Chevrolet and William C. Durant is the best selling and biggest brand by General Motors -mainly due to low pricing.

No wonder Chevy the "working man's car" has become such an iconic part of Americana in films and pop-culture.

When talking about Chevy one must not ignore Chevrolet small-block V8 the world's most produced engine that has been in production since 1955 and still going strong.

Surprisingly, "America's only sports car" Corvette was introduced under Chevrolet brand rather than its own. To us the most memorable Corvette has to be The second generation (C2) Corvette, Sting Ray.

To compete with VW Beatle Chevrolet introduced Corvair a compact automobile built in 1960–1969 It was the only American designed, mass-produced passenger car to feature a rear-mounted air-cooled engine. Corvair handling was deemed notoriously bad mainly due to Ralph Nader's Unsafe at Any Speed. Although, any handling issues were soon solved the reputation did stick.

With Pony / Muscle car mania taking over the Americans, following the introduction of Ford Mustang, Chevrolet came up with one of its most famous models Camaro. During the first year alone they managed to sell 220,906 Camaros.
