Chevrolet C10 Pickup Truck 1970

General description : When it comes to 'old school cool', it doesn't get much better than a tricked-out pickup. Comfortably accommodating two passengers and boasting the coveted ability to haul anything from a building block to a big block, these fabled workhorses combine the best characteristics of a flashy coupe with the straight up utility of a commercial truck. And, in ultimate homage to golden age Detroit design, they seem to ALWAYS look great! Wrapping modern air conditioning, a quality Phoenix 4-speed and 350 cubic inches of buff ATK small block in show worthy aesthetics, this impressive Chevy is one of the nicest C10s on the market. And if you're looking for a reliable head turner that mixes timeless style with great performance, it's a solid stake for your next classic!
TRUE TO SPID
Roughly 3,000 miles out of a detailed, ground-up restoration, this super cool pickup features a solid steel body that's been completely stripped, completely disassembled and carefully refinished in a correct combination of White and Medium Olive two-stage. That thoroughly massaged profile centers beautiful fit and finish under bright reflections that bounce off Kansas-flat surfaces. And naturally, those factory-spec planes present a roster of tasteful details. At the front of the truck, an intricate grille flies a bold 'C H E V R O L E T' banner between modern Hella headlamps, traditional parking lamps and a fresh stainless shell. A fresh bumper guards a legendary short bed profile that floats crisp markers and fresh door handles amid ornate Chevrolet Custom trim. A domed hood, led by a familiar blue bowtie, fronts a crisp greenhouse, which stretches quality LLumar 80 tint and correct Custom frames between satin wipers and polished wipers. A 'C H E V R O L E T' branded tailgate seals a painted bed that's been equipped with a relocated fuel filler and a rugged Holley cargo mat. And out back, traditional taillights illuminate a second fresh bumper.
POWER BY ATK
Tilt the hood and you'll find 350 cubic inches of proven ATK High Performance Engines crate motor that twists healthy 9.1 to 1 compression into an easy 325 horsepower and 375 lb./ft. of tire turning torque! At the top of that seasoned 4-bolt block, a painted and decaled air cleaner jambs wind into a bright Quick Fuel Technology 4-barrel. That Lokar-controlled carb, sequenced to braided lines, a coated pump and an electric choke, feeds a painted Weiand Speed Warrior intake. That intake feeds cast iron ATK cylinder heads, which stack a billet breather and stylish, Chevrolet Orange valve covers on cast iron exhaust manifolds. A hot hydraulic cam works well with powdered connecting rods and hypereutectic pistons that are dressed in moly rings. A reliable HEI distributor sparks loomed Taylor plug wires. Pliable V-belts spin a color-keyed water pump between a modern alternator, a coated AC compressor and a lucid power steering pump. Speaking of water, a muted aluminum radiator circulates ample coolant. And overall, the Chevy Orange beast looks great between a Medium Olive firewall and slick, Satin Black fenders.
PART RESTO, PART MOD
Behind that spry powerplant, a cooled 700R4 4-speed, sourced directly from the pros at Phoenix Transmission Products, twists torque through a 2,800 RPM stall converter. That converter kicks a familiar 12-bolt axle that's built with a posi-traction differential and big 3.73 gears. Everything rolls low and mean on a proven, factory-style chassis that's been C-notched in the rear. At the back of that frame, RideTech trailing arms cage RideTech coil-overs and predictable lowering blocks. Opposite that clip, an upgraded front-half sandwiches two more RideTech coil-overs between RideTech StrongArms, a RideTech sway bar and 2.5-inch drop spindles. Factory-style power steering makes parking easy and turns a cinch. Quick stops come courtesy of meaty Wilwood calipers that, with the help of hydroboost, clamp 20 pistons around 13-inch drilled and slotted rotors. Stainless pipes route spent gases through deep Flowmaster mufflers, which ride just in front of a stainless, 22-gallon Rick's fuel tank. And power meets the pavement through Gunmetal-tinged Billet Specialties Prisms, which spin 245/40ZR20 Nitto NT555 G2s in front of 275/40ZR20 Nitto NT555 G2s.
FACTORY CUSTOM FORM
Pop the doors and you'll reveal a fully restored cockpit that populates Chevrolet's stylish Custom trim with a roster of thoughtful and purposeful upgrades. Fresh Olive vinyl dresses a wide bench seat to match retractable lap belts and fresh, fade-free carpet that's correctly protected by color-keyed floor mats. In front of those thrones, a two-tone dash hangs crisp Dakota Digital telemetry beside cool Vintage Air climate control and modern Custom Autosound audio. That deck, capable of both Bluetooth and MP3 music, bumps Kicker amps, Kicker subs and premium speakers that are housed behind custom kick panels. Fresh door panels look great dressed in factory handles and factory armrests. And the driver spins an original Chevrolet steering wheel around Dakota Digital Cruise Control.
Both alluring and practical, this awesome Chevy is a tastefully refined take on the enduring concept of the American pickup truck. Combining great craftsmanship with proven mechanicals, it presents the rare opportunity to land a show worthy classic that easily doubles as a sorted weekend cruiser. Don't miss your chance to claim this awesome C10!

About Chevrolet
Chevrolet aka Chevy, founded in 1911 by Louis Chevrolet and William C. Durant is the best selling and biggest brand by General Motors -mainly due to low pricing.

No wonder Chevy the "working man's car" has become such an iconic part of Americana in films and pop-culture.

When talking about Chevy one must not ignore Chevrolet small-block V8 the world's most produced engine that has been in production since 1955 and still going strong.

Surprisingly, "America's only sports car" Corvette was introduced under Chevrolet brand rather than its own. To us the most memorable Corvette has to be The second generation (C2) Corvette, Sting Ray.

To compete with VW Beatle Chevrolet introduced Corvair a compact automobile built in 1960–1969 It was the only American designed, mass-produced passenger car to feature a rear-mounted air-cooled engine. Corvair handling was deemed notoriously bad mainly due to Ralph Nader's Unsafe at Any Speed. Although, any handling issues were soon solved the reputation did stick.

With Pony / Muscle car mania taking over the Americans, following the introduction of Ford Mustang, Chevrolet came up with one of its most famous models Camaro. During the first year alone they managed to sell 220,906 Camaros.
