Chevrolet C15 468 CID V8 1971

General description : For sale in our Orlando showroom is a 1971 Chevrolet C10. This freshly built and stunning C10 is a great addition to our Orlando showroom. Starting with the goodies under the hood, this beast comes equipped with a 468CID big block with forged Keith Black pistons, Eagle crank shaft, 10:1 compression ratio so it can be driven on pump gas. The valve work is taken care of by a comp cams custom grind hydraulic camshaft and cast heads with full roller setup to handle the power. A Quick Fuel SS-680 sits on top of the dual plane intake manifold and with vacuum secondaries provides a nice mild street drive but can pick up the pace when needed. Adding fire to the equation is an MSD 6AL box and full MSD setup that increases the reliability and streetability almost ten fold. Under the hood you can tell this C10 comes with all of the right equipment from the chromed out a/c compressor and accessories its apparent that this truck was built for the high power enthusiast that still wants to take a trophy home at the show. Modern touches on the drive train include a 700R4 overdrive transmission running into a 3:73 12bolt posi rear end. Inside the cab there is definitely no lack of amenities with its Dakota Digital dash that lights up red, vintage air a/c, and custom blue tooth radio set up this truck has all of the modern features you would want with the classic appearance you expect. Of course one could go on and on about the modern features under the hood and in the cab but you would be leaving out the elephant in the room which is the absolutely stunning red paint job and wood bed floor. The floor in the bed is not finished in the usual billion coats of clear that are almost as blinding as the paint, this however has just the right amount of protection without looking too glossy and it does not distract you from the mile deep red that covers the rest of the truck. This was built by a gentleman that was dead set on a truck that had just as much show as it did go and we think he definitely succeeded in that respect and with only 400 and some change since the build was completed, this truck will provide the new owner with plenty more miles of enjoyment. About Chevrolet
Chevrolet aka Chevy, founded in 1911 by Louis Chevrolet and William C. Durant is the best selling and biggest brand by General Motors -mainly due to low pricing.

No wonder Chevy the "working man's car" has become such an iconic part of Americana in films and pop-culture.

When talking about Chevy one must not ignore Chevrolet small-block V8 the world's most produced engine that has been in production since 1955 and still going strong.

Surprisingly, "America's only sports car" Corvette was introduced under Chevrolet brand rather than its own. To us the most memorable Corvette has to be The second generation (C2) Corvette, Sting Ray.

To compete with VW Beatle Chevrolet introduced Corvair a compact automobile built in 1960–1969 It was the only American designed, mass-produced passenger car to feature a rear-mounted air-cooled engine. Corvair handling was deemed notoriously bad mainly due to Ralph Nader's Unsafe at Any Speed. Although, any handling issues were soon solved the reputation did stick.

With Pony / Muscle car mania taking over the Americans, following the introduction of Ford Mustang, Chevrolet came up with one of its most famous models Camaro. During the first year alone they managed to sell 220,906 Camaros.
