Chevrolet C15 305 V8 1981

General description : SHOW QUALITY TRUCK, COLD R134 AC, FUTURE CLASSIC, NICE STYLE & COLORS, ALL-NEW!

This 1981 Chevrolet C10 Scottsdale is a classic V8 pickup that's custom on the outside, refreshingly original on the inside, and an all-around good value.
All by itself, the recent paint job would make this pickup stand out from the crowd. The original two-tone Midnight Black and gray has been updated for a higher gloss and shine that surpasses what came from the factory without losing its classic feeling. Of course it also helps that the big chrome bumpers and boxy body have the kind of super straight appearance that will make you question if this Scottsdale ever worked a day in its life. But what makes this one truly attractive is where it deviates from the factory recipe. The bold billet grille up front with the blacked-out bow-tie; the wide oval chrome exhaust tips; and those unmistakably intricate 22" chrome Panther wheels with painted red stripe. All of it gives this vintage truck a nice touch of aggression that blurs the line between pickup and muscle car.
Open the door, and the moment you see the red trim and three-spoke sports steering wheel, you'll probably think you're in for more racy touches...but you'd be wrong. Instead, this Chevy feel refreshing original. It keeps this factory fresh feeling with major components that feel quite new – everything from the vinyl bench to the dash pad. You even have the original owner's manual in the glovebox! This means you get plenty of room to sit three across with seatbelts for everyone. The original knob-style AM/FM radio feels cool as you tune in your favorite stations. There's even ice-cold air conditioning running thorough the factory vents (although this is utilizing R-134a so you can service it easily.)
The 305 cubic-inch V8 is a trusty, strong, and infinitely upgradeable Chevy small-block. In fact, it has been given a few nice new touches such as the K&N air filter and chrome Chevrolet valve covers, but nothing drastic to get in the way of reliable performance. It's remarkably clean in the engine bay and the same goes for the entire undercarriage. The three-speed automatic transmission and power steering means that it runs down the road with ease. Plus, front disc brakes and grippy street tires at all four corners give you superior contact with the road.
This is fun, utility, and flash... and even a dose of practicality... all at an affordable price. Call today!!!

About Chevrolet
Chevrolet aka Chevy, founded in 1911 by Louis Chevrolet and William C. Durant is the best selling and biggest brand by General Motors -mainly due to low pricing.

No wonder Chevy the "working man's car" has become such an iconic part of Americana in films and pop-culture.

When talking about Chevy one must not ignore Chevrolet small-block V8 the world's most produced engine that has been in production since 1955 and still going strong.

Surprisingly, "America's only sports car" Corvette was introduced under Chevrolet brand rather than its own. To us the most memorable Corvette has to be The second generation (C2) Corvette, Sting Ray.

To compete with VW Beatle Chevrolet introduced Corvair a compact automobile built in 1960–1969 It was the only American designed, mass-produced passenger car to feature a rear-mounted air-cooled engine. Corvair handling was deemed notoriously bad mainly due to Ralph Nader's Unsafe at Any Speed. Although, any handling issues were soon solved the reputation did stick.

With Pony / Muscle car mania taking over the Americans, following the introduction of Ford Mustang, Chevrolet came up with one of its most famous models Camaro. During the first year alone they managed to sell 220,906 Camaros.
