General description : BUY THIS CARVIEW C10'SVIEW CHEVROLET'S For sale in our St. Louis showroom is an awesome, low rider 1962 Chevorlet C10. The odometer reads 25,329, but the actual miles are unknown. An estimated 5,000 miles have been enjoyed in the truck since the build was complete. Options for this 1962 Chevrolet C10 include: AM/FM Radio with CD Player, CB Radio, Power Brakes, Power Steering, Vinyl Interior, Wide White Wall Radial Tires, Rally Wheels, and a Trucker Style Air Horn. Powering this unique low rider build is a 350 CID V8 engine, which is matched to a TH350 automatic transmission. This 1962 C10 features a 1960 C10 front clip, and the truck sits on a 1980 Chevrolet Caprice Classic frame. The 60' front clip was added to achieve a certain look, and the 80' Caprice frame was chosen for the preferred ride quality. This C10 is finished in light or sky blue with a white top. The sky blue has a satin style finish that was achieved by utilizing a 50% reducer with the clear coat. The white paint on the top of the cab features a flake effect that allows the top to shimmer in the sunlight and looks fantastic. The blue and white interior matches the exterior paint scheme perfectly. The dash remains mostly original, except for the addition of a few gauges that rest just above the custom floor mounted console. To make your presence known from afar, tug the chain like a big rig driver, and let the air horn blow loud. Once you get this custom truck parked, drop that bad boy to the ground with the flip of a switch. This truck is ready to go, all the hard work has been done, so all you need to do is get in it and enjoy this very cool build. About Chevrolet
Chevrolet aka Chevy, founded in 1911 by Louis Chevrolet and William C. Durant is the best selling and biggest brand by General Motors -mainly due to low pricing.

No wonder Chevy the "working man's car" has become such an iconic part of Americana in films and pop-culture.

When talking about Chevy one must not ignore Chevrolet small-block V8 the world's most produced engine that has been in production since 1955 and still going strong.

Surprisingly, "America's only sports car" Corvette was introduced under Chevrolet brand rather than its own. To us the most memorable Corvette has to be The second generation (C2) Corvette, Sting Ray.

To compete with VW Beatle Chevrolet introduced Corvair a compact automobile built in 1960–1969 It was the only American designed, mass-produced passenger car to feature a rear-mounted air-cooled engine. Corvair handling was deemed notoriously bad mainly due to Ralph Nader's Unsafe at Any Speed. Although, any handling issues were soon solved the reputation did stick.

With Pony / Muscle car mania taking over the Americans, following the introduction of Ford Mustang, Chevrolet came up with one of its most famous models Camaro. During the first year alone they managed to sell 220,906 Camaros.
