Chevrolet C15 350 V8 1962

General description : GR8 TRUCK, 350 V8, 4 SPD, HURST SHIFTER, PWR STEER, FRONT DISCS, NICE INT/BOD!

You don't have to be a fan of Blue Moon beer to be a fan of this 1962 Chevrolet C10 (in fact, the side logos are just removable magnetic decals.) With its sleek good looks, custom touches, and four-on-the-floor, this is desirability and affordability in one vintage pickup.
The bold jet-pod styling of this generation Chevy truck is now a thing of legend. The body has a cool wraparound crease that proves the '60s were a great time for designers even within Chevy's truck division. You can see all these details today thanks to great care with the sheetmetal. The bright pastel blue represents the era perfectly, and now it benefits from the super sine that comes from modern paint and a professional hand applying it. Sure, this pickup earns its Blue Moon status, but it also is a great completing color to the blond wood in the truck bed. This hauler is all smiles, but it does have a touch of aggression with the staggered alloy wheels (16-inch front, 17-inch rear) that help give this Chevy an intimidating stance.
The blue theme continues on the inside where there's even a great blue glow to the interior lighting. You get a beautiful custom bench seat that looks fantastic with the white bordering and Blue Moon logos stitched into the seatback. The dash panel has all the right comfort features for a pickup like an AM/FM radio and heat/defrost controls, but from the moment you sit down, you can instantly feel the upgrades to make this a true driver's machine. It starts with the wood-rimmed three-spoke sports steering wheel. Beyond that is a custom machine-turned aluminum panel with a full set of Haneline gauges. And the large tach is quite important, because it goes so well with the Hurst shifter.
Under the hood is an old favorite. The 350 cubic-inch small block V8 is a great powerplant for both power and reliability. This one has even been dressed properly for showing off with its bright air grabber and Chevrolet performance valve covers. Beyond the style is the substance of performance components like a four-barrel carburetor and heat-wrapped headers. This produces nice power, and the rumble of the dual exhaust lets everyone know it, too. You're in complete control of the sound and the fury of this package thanks to the four-speed manual transmission. The aggressive image is balanced with the everyday comfort of power steering, front disc brakes, and the C10's sought-after trailing arm rear suspension.
This is a very cool custom C10 that looks great inside and out, and it even has all the right upgrades. So when it's at a price that won't break the bank, you know you have to hurry to be the one to take this pickup home. Call today!!

About Chevrolet
Chevrolet aka Chevy, founded in 1911 by Louis Chevrolet and William C. Durant is the best selling and biggest brand by General Motors -mainly due to low pricing.

No wonder Chevy the "working man's car" has become such an iconic part of Americana in films and pop-culture.

When talking about Chevy one must not ignore Chevrolet small-block V8 the world's most produced engine that has been in production since 1955 and still going strong.

Surprisingly, "America's only sports car" Corvette was introduced under Chevrolet brand rather than its own. To us the most memorable Corvette has to be The second generation (C2) Corvette, Sting Ray.

To compete with VW Beatle Chevrolet introduced Corvair a compact automobile built in 1960–1969 It was the only American designed, mass-produced passenger car to feature a rear-mounted air-cooled engine. Corvair handling was deemed notoriously bad mainly due to Ralph Nader's Unsafe at Any Speed. Although, any handling issues were soon solved the reputation did stick.

With Pony / Muscle car mania taking over the Americans, following the introduction of Ford Mustang, Chevrolet came up with one of its most famous models Camaro. During the first year alone they managed to sell 220,906 Camaros.
