Chevrolet C65 6.2 Liter Diesel 1967

General description : Description
When you want the biggest and baddest classic pickup out there, it's hard to beat this 1967 Chevrolet C-50. They made terrific investment in this industrial-grade machine so that you have awesome paint, an upgraded A/C interior, four-wheel disc brakes, and serious diesel power. So it's the classic that towers over them all both physically and with its superior features.
This is a true dream truck for many of us. Chevrolet's industrial-grade C-50 line had arguably the most imposing face of this era. So a true fantasy truck is short wheelbase custom creation that gives takes the classic workman style and fits it into a more everyday package. So think of it as imposing as an International XT or GMC Topkick, but with vintage prestige added in, too. This has all the right classic elements, like top running light and extra-tall mirrors. It also genuinely has the right stuff to get to work, like front tow hooks, liner paint in the bed, and a proper trailer hitch. But the fit and finish here proves it's so much more than a workhorse. You see it in the way the cab flows right into the truck bed for a look like Chevy made it at the factory. The custom full-length running boards also help to give this professional-grade pickup a professional-level finish. And it has an awesome paint theme that takes Chevy's iconic Hugger Orange and adds a slick black for a well-done two-tone. Plus, those large 22.5-inch 10-bolt Alcoa wheels add to both the truck's shine and its serious workman attitude.
Just like the exterior, the interior is clean and classic with plenty of awesome upgrades. In fact, even the orange and black color theme continues inside. We especially like it intertwined on the classic houndstooth cloth seat inserts. The rest of this two-tone has a fresh and clean look of a solid investment. You'll love all the classic details, right down to the thin/grippy three-spoke steering wheel. But it also doesn't take much to take note of all the upgrades. The center of the dash now has an AM/FM touchscreen infotainment unit that includes a USB input and bluetooth. There's also USB power outlets and cold-blowing air conditioning to keep you comfy over long and short hauls. Not only does the upgraded tach go great with the floor shifter, but also this 1960s machine has a head-up display! And this one even has a modern push-button start.
Under the hood is another terrific upgrade. GM wasn't in its prime diesel era when this truck was first built, but luckily the engine compartment is big enough for a truly awesome torque-filled powerplant. The 6.2-liter Detroit Diesel V8 has earned a reputation for moving some heavy-duty machinery, including the military Humvees, so it has a proper placement here. They even took the time to give it the tidy kind of install that makes it look like it belonged since day one. You'll even spot the right supporting components, including a large aluminum radiator w/dual electric fans. The NV4500 five-speed manual transmission is built for diesel power, and it gives you a firm control over this custom truck. Plus, this has the best upgrades with a Freightliner custom front end, GMC Topkick frame, rear sway bar, power steering, and four-wheel disc brakes.
This is the custom truck that you wished Chevy had always built. So if you need the biggest and baddest custom diesel machine, don't let this one-of-a-kind slip away. Call today!!!

About Chevrolet
Chevrolet aka Chevy, founded in 1911 by Louis Chevrolet and William C. Durant is the best selling and biggest brand by General Motors -mainly due to low pricing.

No wonder Chevy the "working man's car" has become such an iconic part of Americana in films and pop-culture.

When talking about Chevy one must not ignore Chevrolet small-block V8 the world's most produced engine that has been in production since 1955 and still going strong.

Surprisingly, "America's only sports car" Corvette was introduced under Chevrolet brand rather than its own. To us the most memorable Corvette has to be The second generation (C2) Corvette, Sting Ray.

To compete with VW Beatle Chevrolet introduced Corvair a compact automobile built in 1960–1969 It was the only American designed, mass-produced passenger car to feature a rear-mounted air-cooled engine. Corvair handling was deemed notoriously bad mainly due to Ralph Nader's Unsafe at Any Speed. Although, any handling issues were soon solved the reputation did stick.

With Pony / Muscle car mania taking over the Americans, following the introduction of Ford Mustang, Chevrolet came up with one of its most famous models Camaro. During the first year alone they managed to sell 220,906 Camaros.
