Chevrolet Camaro 1972

General description : TRUE SS Z27, #'S MATCH 350 V8, TH350 AUTO, PWR STEER & BRAKE, RUN STRONG, SHARP!

This is a split-bumper car that's a true Super Sport, and it even has its original V8 still under the hood. So it's going to be really hard to look at everything this 1972 Chevrolet Camaro RS/SS has to offer and not fall in love.
Second-generation Camaros have matured into true classics, but as good as they all look, this one has something extra special to stand out in any crowd. The modern clearcoat gives the silver an extra luster. Plus, the black painted stripes help highlight the upgraded cowl-induction hood and full-width rear spoiler. Chrome is used sparingly, so areas like the iconic split front bumper, rocker panels, and the well-contoured rear bumper all look exceptionally nice. And those 15-inch Billet Specialties wheels are instant attention-grabbers. But as much as we love the Rally Sport package's large unobstructed grille that looks like it's out to consume lesser cars, this one hides a secret. You might notice the trim tag is absent a paint code, which suggests that this was a special order vehicle. And that always wows even the purists.
The exterior stripes are a great intro to the black carpets, door panels, dash, and bucket seats that await inside. GM designers nailed it with the second-generation Camaro's interior with a driver-oriented package that's still desirable in modern times. Originality is main theme here with the gauges, heat/defrost sliders, and the whole dash looking correct. But your favorite original pieces are going to be how the correct NK4 sports steering wheel feels in your left hand, and how your right one instantly gravitates to the iconic horseshoe shifter.
Even more great originality is under the hood. This is a true Camaro SS, and 1972 was the final year for it. In fact, by '73 the emissions regulations would bring the power down, too. It's great to see the original numbers-matching 350 cubic-inch motor still under the hood today. And since this V8 is so significant, it's great to have it preserved look on everything from the bold orange block to the decal still on the factory air topper. Plus, the Thrush dual exhaust means the V8 still has a great growl. Out on the road, features like the three-speed automatic transmission, power steering, front disc brakes, and BG Goodrich T/As combine for a fine driving package that allows you to enjoy this special Camaro to the fullest.
A final-year Camaro RS/SS with all the right iconic touches and a great story to tell. That makes this an all-around stunner that you don't want to miss. Call now!
