General description : THE BODY Enjoy this 1981 Chevrolet Camaro Z28 presented by Cruisin Classics. This beautiful black beast with factory red Z28 graphics retains all of it's original floors, trunk and quarter panels. Rock Solid! It has the optional T-Top's, power steering, power disc brakes, air conditioning, 4 speed transmission, 3.42 posi traction rear end and an awesome engine upgrade to a 383 Stroker. All good stuff lurking under the factory air induction hood. The factory original red interior and stock Z/28 rally wheels make this one a real head turner. We also have the build sheet in-house ready for the new owner. INTERIOR The interior of this classic retains it's original Red Bucket seats and door panels with new carpet and headliner insert. It has the original 4-speed shifter and console as well. The dash instruments have been upgraded along with the addition of a JVC am/fm CD Player Stereo. ENGINE The heart of this car is the 383 cubic inch Stroker engine. The casting number is 10066036, a 350 4 bolt main block with a stroker crank to make it 383 cubic inches. It is outfitted with a set of DART Iron Eagle High Performance cylinder heads, a DART SHP Dual plane aluminum high-rise intake manifold, Edelbrock 750 cfm carburetor with electric choke, GM HEI Electronic Ignition, a mild hydraulic performance cam with Harland Sharp Roller Rocker arms, Moroso 7 qt. oil pan, PB harmonic balancer, high torque mini starter and a set of Dyna Tech 1 3/4 ceramic coated headers connected to dual alumunized 2 1/2 Flowmasters. Cooling is handled by a Be Cool Heavy Duty aluminum radiator with dual electric fans. TRANSMISSION Original Saginaw 4 speed transmission. Heavy Duty clutch. REAR END 10 bolt posi traction with freeway friendly 3.42 gears.
