Chevrolet Camaro 5.7L V8 FOHV 16V 1997

General description : Gateway Classic Cars of Orlando is proud to present this sharp looking 1997 Camaro Z28 30th Anniversary. 1997 marked the 30th year of production for the Camaro. For the occasion Chevrolet made just 979 examples of the 30th anniversary edition featuring a base white paint covered in twin orange stripes harkening back to the classic look of the 1969 Camaro Indianapolis 500 pace car. Powered by Chevy’s stout 5.7 L LT1 engine mated to a 4L60E transmission, this car is no slouch but even still this Camaro has been tastefully modified. The engine is sporting a 52 mm Holley throttle body, K&N intake, AFIS power fuel injectors, Hyper Tech power plus programmer and other upgrades all kept in check by a Be Cool aluminum dual core radiator. With hooker headers and a 3” Borla cat back exhaust this car sure sounds the part too. To handle all this power, the driveline is beefed up with a 2800 rpm stall TCI torque converter, Summit racing aluminum drive shaft and a Hayden transmission oil cooler and much more. This Camaro isn’t just about power though. Suspension upgrades include UMI performance rear control arms, BMR transmission torque arm, Mevo Tech upper/lower control arms and Gabriel strut assemblies making this Camaro handle like a dream. What really sets apart the look of this Z28 are the 18 inch Corvette Grand Sport wheels set over drilled and slotted rotors with orange calipers. Options include a Kenwood touchscreen radio with navigation, Glass T-tops, spare tire, cruise control, power brakes, power steering, power locks, power seats, power windows, tilt wheel, keyless entry, power mirrors, seat belts, leather interior, radial tires and posi traction.
