Chevrolet Camaro 1969

General description : Looking for a super sharp cruiser that you can parade down Main Street and park at local cruise nights? Looking for a cool piece of Americana that'll turn heads anywhere it goes? A fully sorted pro-tourer that delivers on every level, this sweet Camaro is the kind of car that's simply a blast to own! Backing a cammed LS2 with a Tremec 6-speed, an upgraded chassis and super sinister aesthetics, this fully sorted panther draws big crowds and big compliments. And if you're looking for an impressive muscle car that'll fare well on the road AND at the show, it's the answer to your car guy dreams!
BLACK NO. 1
Fully sorted and ready for years of endless cruising, this svelte pro-tourer is the beneficiary of a detailed, ground-up, professional restoration. Once the coupe's body was massaged to better-than-new condition, a deep coat of glossy black 2-stage paint was stretched from stem to stern. And today, this Chevy is one very well done classic that's ready to be the center of attention wherever it may roam!
This Camaro's timeless Rally Sport aesthetics kick off with a smoothed and body-matched bumper, which traces a blacked out Rally Sport grille that's bordered by blacked out Rally Sport headlights. Beneath those lights, a seamless valance centers clean Rally Sport parking lamps above a custom chin spoiler before bending around sculpted fenders that boast shaved emblems and filled marker lamps. Those fenders meet seamless rockers, which frame sporty F2 mirrors and blacked out door handles. Above those handles, tinted glass floats Satin Black stainless trim between muted wipers, shaved drip rails and a requisite Cowl Induction Hood that backs a shaved, seamless header panel. Opposite that hood, a custom extended decklid tilts a custom spoiler between a seamless trunk filler and extended quarters that sport custom side gills and filled marker lamps. And at the edges of those lamps, a second smoothed and body-matched bumper splits a black bowtie, blacked out taillights and a custom, seamless valance that's fashioned around large exhaust tips.
LS NATION
Under the hood, an even six liters of proven GM LS2 spins an easy 400 horsepower straight from the factory! At the top of the body-matched mill, a Chevrolet-branded air cleaner rings a FiTech throttle body with a requisite reusable filter element. From there a GM intake powers rectangular-port 823 heads. Beneath those caps, an upsized cam pushes spent gases through coated Dynatech long tube headers. In front of those tubes, quality CVF billet wraps a pliable serpentine belt around a polished alternator and a polished AC compressor. MSD LS Series ignition fires short MSD Super Conductor plug wires. A beefy radiator rides between a custom shroud and billet fluid reservoirs. Mechanical details are on point, with items like an Aeromotive regulator and a liquid-filled Aeromotive pressure gauge joining a Wilwood clutch cylinder and a Wilwood master cylinder. Braided fluid lines, aftermarket brace bars and custom coil covers ensure first-class presentation. And all that glitz is framed in glossy 2-stage paint, which coats smooth fenders and a crisp firewall.
CLEAN AND MEAN
Park this Chevy on a lift and you'll find solid, over-restored floorpans that provide a fitting backdrop for fresh, first rate hardware. Behind the smooth small block, a tough Tremec 6-speed transmission twists power to a bowtie-branded 12-bolt rear axle that's fitted with premium Moser axles. Beneath that drivetrain, a completely rebuilt suspension follows tubular control arms, beefy subframe connectors and modern coil-over-shocks with a Detroit Speed QUADRALink rear-clip. Those bones are led by traditional power steering. Stops are provided by power-assisted Wilwood calipers, which squeeze four 12 inch drilled and slotted rotors. Charred dinosaurs float from the aforementioned headers into coated, true-dual pipes, which position polished Magnaflow mufflers behind an X-shaped crossover. Torque transitions to pavement through muted BC Forged wheels, which spin ultra-wide 275/35ZR18 BF Goodrich g-Force Rivals in front of 335/30ZR18 BF Goodrich g-Force Rivals out back.
FAMILIAR CUSTOM FLAIR
Inside this cool coupe you'll find a familiar but custom interior that blends the best attributes of pony cars and sports cars! Front and center, Cipher Auto seats wear multi-point Cipher Auto harnesses. A fifth-generation Camaro console sports a leather-booted short-throw shifter. A customized dash, which flows into attractive TMI side panels, frames Vintage Air conditioning, modern Kenwood audio and a full suite of AutoMeter Pro-Comp Ultra-Lite telemetry. A tough roll bar traces a molded headliner opposite red-tinged carpet that backs billet foot pedals. And in front of the driver, a flattened Grant steering wheel laps a tilting column.
This thoroughly massaged Camaro is one of the coolest cruisers on the planet! As it sits, the car offers the best of both worlds: a fully restored classic, and a sweet pro-tourer that's guaranteed to be a blast to own. Call your friends at RK Motors Charlotte and kick 2020 off right!
