Description : Gateway Classic Cars is excited to offer this Stunning 1971 Chevrolet RS Camaro in our Ft Lauderdale Showroom. The second generation Camaro was produced from 1970-1981, and came about with a heavy restyle from the first generation Camaro. It grew larger and wider, but still based on the F body platform with unibody structure--front subframe with an “A" arm front suspension and leaf springs supporting a solid rear axle.

This gorgeous second generation “Split Bumper" RS Camaro is a super cool example of an amazing “frame off" restoration. It comes painted in Orange with Black painted hood stripes and a Orange and Black leather interior. This one is a head turner..and one of the most desirable cars to own! This beast isn't all show however, under the hood lurks a 6.2 Liter Supercharged LSA Engine straight from GM. In fact, it is a fully custom resto mod, from it's engine bay to it's full Schwartz Chassis and exhaust ports through the quarter panels.

Backing up the engine is a Tremec 6 speed transmission, with a Mcleod dual clutch system with scatter shield. Furthermore, the clutch and braking is controlled through a Wilwood adjustable with a 6.25:1 pedal ratio. Indeed, this amazing vehicle has the best of everything and attention to detail from the front to the back, starting with the custom chin spoiler and LED headlights, cowl induction hood, support top by Eddie Motor Sport Hinges. The body sits on a full Schwartz Chassis with 3 piston calipers and 14" rotors with 3:89 gear ratio in the rear end with Ridetech Shocks. Moreover, the interior is fully custom from the dash and console, with Autometer Phantom II gauges, to a full roll cage concealed in the interior with custom houndstooth seats and a Rockford Fosgate Stereo with kicker amps and speakers. Car rides on 18" x 12" rear and 18" x 10" front Forgeline Wheels and BF Goodrich G-FORCE Rival S Tires. It is truly one of a kind!
