Description : Gateway Classic Cars of Chicago is proud to present this tastefully upgraded 1994 Chevrolet Caprice Classic Wagon. The standard caprice came with a 4.3l V8, but this example was options with the more powerful 5.7l LT1 small block Chevy making a claimed 260 horsepower and a whopping 330lb-ft of torque. This clean wagon has had a nice bump in horsepower thanks to a K&N intake system, Hooker Headers into a set of Flowmaster Mufflers, and a Hypertech tuner to maximize the gains from the upgrades. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a 700R4 4-speed automatic transmission.
To get the chassis up to snuff, this 65k mile beauty has had a set of American Racing alloy wheels fitted to a tougher look and better performance. Hotchkis sway bars were installed to reduce body roll, and Bell Tech 2" drop springs bring the center of gravity down to a more sporty level. With this two-owner wagon comes the original window sticker, and a lucky Elmo doll!
Options include: Air-Conditioning, AM/FM/Cassette, Spare Tire& Jack, Cruise Control, Power Brakes, Power Setting, Power Locks, Power Seats, Power Windows, Anti-Lock Brakes, Tilt Steering Wheel, Traction Control, Power Mirrors, Seat Belts, Cloth Interior, and Alloy Wheels with Radial Tires. About Chevrolet
Chevrolet aka Chevy, founded in 1911 by Louis Chevrolet and William C. Durant is the best selling and biggest brand by General Motors -mainly due to low pricing.

No wonder Chevy the "working man's car" has become such an iconic part of Americana in films and pop-culture.

When talking about Chevy one must not ignore Chevrolet small-block V8 the world's most produced engine that has been in production since 1955 and still going strong.

Surprisingly, "America's only sports car" Corvette was introduced under Chevrolet brand rather than its own. To us the most memorable Corvette has to be The second generation (C2) Corvette, Sting Ray.

To compete with VW Beatle Chevrolet introduced Corvair a compact automobile built in 1960–1969 It was the only American designed, mass-produced passenger car to feature a rear-mounted air-cooled engine. Corvair handling was deemed notoriously bad mainly due to Ralph Nader's Unsafe at Any Speed. Although, any handling issues were soon solved the reputation did stick.

With Pony / Muscle car mania taking over the Americans, following the introduction of Ford Mustang, Chevrolet came up with one of its most famous models Camaro. During the first year alone they managed to sell 220,906 Camaros.
