Description : Gateway Classic Cars of Nashville is proud to digitally present this beautiful 1966 Chevrolet Caprice 2dr Coupe. This beautiful machine has all of the signs that this is an original car, with only two owners and this who the current owner purchased it from. There are things l look for before I make a statement like that, im looking at the carpet where your heels are " very little wear" , The sides of the gas and brake pedal" they look amazing with very little wear on the sides" armrests" amazing as well as the rest of the interior. From the original chrome wrapped around the car " non-pitted " you will start to see what I see. Now with that said I don't have photos back to birth of this car, I have documentation of the purchase of the current seller in 1981, protectoplate. Powering this Caprice is a stout 327 Cubic Inch V8 that is paired up nicely to a 2-spd powerglide automatic transmission. The exterior paint is a Lemonwood yellow that has very clean black vinyl roof to break the color up a bit. Looks killer to me. The Black interior vinyl shows very little wear as well and for all original parts this car is ready to make some more dreams come true! Options on this 1966 Chevrolet Caprice 2dr Coupe include : Power steering, Power brakes, Am/Fm radio, horsepower and whitewall radials that are wrapped around steel wheels with wire caps.

About Chevrolet
Chevrolet aka Chevy, founded in 1911 by Louis Chevrolet and William C. Durant is the best selling and biggest brand by General Motors -mainly due to low pricing.

No wonder Chevy the "working man's car" has become such an iconic part of Americana in films and pop-culture.

When talking about Chevy one must not ignore Chevrolet small-block V8 the world's most produced engine that has been in production since 1955 and still going strong.

Surprisingly, "America's only sports car" Corvette was introduced under Chevrolet brand rather than its own. To us the most memorable Corvette has to be The second generation (C2) Corvette, Sting Ray.

To compete with VW Beatle Chevrolet introduced Corvair a compact automobile built in 1960–1969 It was the only American designed, mass-produced passenger car to feature a rear-mounted air-cooled engine. Corvair handling was deemed notoriously bad mainly due to Ralph Nader's Unsafe at Any Speed. Although, any handling issues were soon solved the reputation did stick.

With Pony / Muscle car mania taking over the Americans, following the introduction of Ford Mustang, Chevrolet came up with one of its most famous models Camaro. During the first year alone they managed to sell 220,906 Camaros.
