Description : Gateway Classic Cars of Dallas is proud to offer this “Silver Bullet" 1968 Chevrolet Chevelle SS.

This true “138" Chevelle has been completely transformed into a fully modified restomod, through a full frame-off restoration and rebuild. This Chevelle has been with the current owner for 20+ years, and in that time he has built this Chevelle using an engineering mindset. Starting with the drivetrain, an LS1 and T-56 were sourced from a 2002 Camaro SS, the LS1 featuring Stainlessworks headers, Accel Wires a MagnaFlow 3 inch Stainless Exhaust System, a custom cold air intake. The LS1 is backed up by the famous T-56 6 Speed Manual, featuring a lightweight aluminum flywheel, Monster Clutch, sending power through a Denny's Aluminum Driveshaft, to a 12 bolt rear end housing a Torsen Type 2 Limited Slip Diff, with 3.73 gears. Griffin Aluminum Radiator with 2 Speed Electric Fans.

This SS has been painted a beautiful silver supplied by Dupont, with a black grille, badging, and bumper treatment. New Weather Stripping, new Body Bushings. with just 18,000 proven miles on this amazing build, it still looks fresh.

The Chassis has been treated to a full Global West Suspension kit, front, and rear. Global West Tubular Upper and Lower Control arms up front, QA1 Coilover adjustable shocks. Front and Rear Disc Brakes with Hydroboost. ATS AFS Forged Spindles holding big brakes. Steering is complimented by an AGR Fast Ratio steering box with Ididit Billet Aluminum Steering Column. large front sway bar. Bose 18 inch wheels on Toyo High-Performance tires. New Stainless Steel Gas Tank.


The Interior is where this Chevelle has gone over the top, featuring a bumping aftermarket sound system equipped with Custom iPad mount on top of the classic looks of white auto meter gauges. 2002 Camaro Seats front and rear have been transplanted, and their power functions work as intended. Cruise Control is controlled by the 2 switches in the center console. push-button start makes for effortless getaways. Gen 4 Vintage AC
is a cool feature. LED lighting throughout the car.
