Outstanding 1965 Chevrolet Chevelle Malibu Super Sport The next roaring classic up for grabs in our Pleasanton showroom is this 1965 Chevrolet Chevelle Malibu Super Sport 2 Door Coupe with blue exterior paint and a matching blue vinyl interior. This beauty is a true factory SS with the numbers-matching 283 CI V-8 engine, the 2bbl carburetors and the Powerglide automatic transmission under the hood, both of which have been rebuilt within the past 20,000 miles. It also has power steering, power brakes, the original factory radio and a mere 79,717 original miles showing on the odometer. Driven a Total of 79,717 Lifetime Miles The current owner of this 1965 Chevrolet Chevelle Malibu SS informs us that it is a highly original classic that he purchased back in 2013. The entire factory drivetrain has been rebuilt as well and this true survivor appears to have been babied almost its entire life. While its likely a hair below what some collectors would consider “show quality”, this gorgeous sports car has very few imperfections and it really stands out in traffic. In terms of actual performance, this ’65 Malibu SS seriously impresses. Although it has several of the original accessories, it starts right up smoothly and has a great response time on the open road. With nice cornering, strong power and just a great overall feel, it would be almost impossible to go wrong with this one at the current asking price. Highly Original w/ Rebuilt Factory Drivetrain Overall, this 1965 Chevrolet Chevelle Malibu is a cut above what you’d normally find at this price point and it is easily nice enough to show locally as well. With so much originality and superior performance, it is an excellent buy that should not remain available for long. About Chevrolet
Chevrolet aka Chevy, founded in 1911 by Louis Chevrolet and William C. Durant is the best selling and biggest brand by General Motors -mainly due to low pricing.

No wonder Chevy the "working man's car" has become such an iconic part of Americana in films and pop-culture.

When talking about Chevy one must not ignore Chevrolet small-block V8 the world's most produced engine that has been in production since 1955 and still going strong.

Surprisingly, "America's only sports car" Corvette was introduced under Chevrolet brand rather than its own. To us the most memorable Corvette has to be The second generation (C2) Corvette, Sting Ray.

To compete with VW Beatle Chevrolet introduced Corvair a compact automobile built in 1960–1969 It was the only American designed, mass-produced passenger car to feature a rear-mounted air-cooled engine. Corvair handling was deemed notoriously bad mainly due to Ralph Nader's Unsafe at Any Speed. Although, any handling issues were soon solved the reputation did stick.

With Pony / Muscle car mania taking over the Americans, following the introduction of Ford Mustang, Chevrolet came up with one of its most famous models Camaro. During the first year alone they managed to sell 220,906 Camaros.
