Chevrolet Chevy II 1967

General description : For sale in our Detroit showroom is a beautifully-restored 1967 Chevrolet Nova II. If you want a show-quality muscle car with some serious power under the hood, then this is the car for you! The most noticeable part of this Chevy is the incredible attention-to-detail with the bodywork. The car retains almost all of the original sheetmetal, which has been coated in a spectacular shade of ‘Black Rose,’ which was a special color only offered on 1992 Corvettes. Out in the sunlight on a nice day, it really shines, and will surely make you the center of attention at every show you go to. Speaking of shows, this Nova II has been shown at the 2013 Detroit Autorama, where it placed 3rd in the Conservative Hardtop. A year later, it was shown again, where it took 2nd in its class. The interior of the car looks just a stunning as the outside, with original seats recovered in the 1966 “Fawn” color, which is a great match with the exterior color. Aside from being one of the more attention-getting Novas you will ever find, it also packs quite the punch under the hood, with a built SBC aluminum Dart tall-deck motor, totaling approximately 440 cubic inches. Built by D&S Engines, the motor features GMPP heads, Weiand single plane intake, 870 Holley, Callies crank, billet rods, JE forged pistons, and a custom solid-roller Comp cam with 1.5-ratio roller rockers. The engine is fully-studded with ARP fasteners, and also features a remote oil filter system. To keep things clean and organized under the hood, the car features Painless Wiring with 11 circuits, in addition to integrated MSD Digital 6 & Pro-Billit distributor. The transmission is a Richmond 5-speed overdrive transmission and the car is built to handle the power, with a Ford 9-inch rear end with custom-width Moser axles, and 3.88 gears. While the powerful motor able to rocket the car down a straight stretch of highway, this Nova features an upgraded suspension underneath, consisting of Heidt’s Super Ride front subframe with coil-overs, rear 4-link with coilovers, and frame connectors for improved handling characteristics. With the fast car, you have to have the ability to safely bring everything to a stop, and the car comes with equipped with Wilwood four-wheel disc brakes with a Wilwood manual master cylinder and stainless steel hard lines. Options on the car include: power steering, tilt wheel, vinyl interior, and aluminum/alloy wheels. If you want a show-stopping performance machine, then call today! About Chevrolet
Chevrolet aka Chevy, founded in 1911 by Louis Chevrolet and William C. Durant is the best selling and biggest brand by General Motors -mainly due to low pricing.

No wonder Chevy the "working man's car" has become such an iconic part of Americana in films and pop-culture.

When talking about Chevy one must not ignore Chevrolet small-block V8 the world's most produced engine that has been in production since 1955 and still going strong.

Surprisingly, "America's only sports car" Corvette was introduced under Chevrolet brand rather than its own. To us the most memorable Corvette has to be The second generation (C2) Corvette, Sting Ray.

To compete with VW Beatle Chevrolet introduced Corvair a compact automobile built in 1960–1969 It was the only American designed, mass-produced passenger car to feature a rear-mounted air-cooled engine. Corvair handling was deemed notoriously bad mainly due to Ralph Nader's Unsafe at Any Speed. Although, any handling issues were soon solved the reputation did stick.

With Pony / Muscle car mania taking over the Americans, following the introduction of Ford Mustang, Chevrolet came up with one of its most famous models Camaro. During the first year alone they managed to sell 220,906 Camaros.
