Rare, Desirable 1965 Chevrolet Corvair Monza Convertible
New to our Pleasanton showroom is this highly impressive 1965 Chevrolet Corvair Monza 2 Door Convertible with Crocus Yellow exterior paint and a black vinyl interior.  You’ll find a factory correct 110 cid six-cylinder engine under the hood with the numbers-matching Powerglide automatic transmission and this is one of the few rare examples equipped with a power convertible top, a power antenna, chrome Rally wheels (original hubcaps included) and so much more.  This example is in tremendous original condition as well and ready to be enjoyed immediately.
Less than 500 Miles on Rebuilt Factory Drivetrain
This 1965 Chevrolet Corvair Monza Roadster has been lovingly cared for throughout its life with three different owners.  The current owner took possession back in 1994 and he informs us that the factory motor was rebuilt within the last 500 miles.  Although this example does show some minor signs of wear to the exterior paint and interior, this classic is in incredible shape throughout and shows excellent in person.  The factory upholstery stands out in particular with only a light patina.
Additionally, this 1965 Chevrolet Corvair Monza Convertible is ready to be driven on the open road and enjoyed.  The engine has good compression and nice acceleration for an example from this era.  The handling and stopping power are also impressive and it appears everything is in correct working order, including the rare power convertible top and power antennae.  This is simply a very nicely cared for example that deserves a parking spot among a serious collection.
Act Fast- An Incredible Investment Opportunity
Overall, this 1965 Chevrolet Corvair Monza Convertible is a highly original, nicely cared for high end driver with solid documentation and lot of things working in its favor.  Given that so few of these examples with the rare power top remain in existence, don’t expect for it to remain available for long on the open market.  For more information about this vehicle, visit our Pleasanton, California showroom, give us a call at 925-484-2262, or email us at Sales@SpecialtySales.com.  Be sure to mention Stock # P10593 as well.

About Chevrolet
Chevrolet aka Chevy, founded in 1911 by Louis Chevrolet and William C. Durant is the best selling and biggest brand by General Motors -mainly due to low pricing.

No wonder Chevy the "working man's car" has become such an iconic part of Americana in films and pop-culture.

When talking about Chevy one must not ignore Chevrolet small-block V8 the world's most produced engine that has been in production since 1955 and still going strong.

Surprisingly, "America's only sports car" Corvette was introduced under Chevrolet brand rather than its own. To us the most memorable Corvette has to be The second generation (C2) Corvette, Sting Ray.

To compete with VW Beatle Chevrolet introduced Corvair a compact automobile built in 1960–1969 It was the only American designed, mass-produced passenger car to feature a rear-mounted air-cooled engine. Corvair handling was deemed notoriously bad mainly due to Ralph Nader's Unsafe at Any Speed. Although, any handling issues were soon solved the reputation did stick.

With Pony / Muscle car mania taking over the Americans, following the introduction of Ford Mustang, Chevrolet came up with one of its most famous models Camaro. During the first year alone they managed to sell 220,906 Camaros.
