Chevrolet Corvette 5.7 Liter 1991

General description : Ahead Of Its Time

Just Toys Classic Cars is proud to present this absolutely stunning 1991 Chevrolet Corvette ZR1. You know that Just Toys Classic Cars is your Corvette headquarters from daily drivers to trailer queens. What you have here is a stunning example of the kind of power that Chevrolet was willing to put in to cars in the early 90's. This car was very special then and because of that is very special today. You have to remember that in 1991 the base Corvette was only putting out 245 HP. So for this car to come out with 375 HP, it made people step up and pay attention.
The interior of this car is in great shape for the age. It does shows very well with no rips or tears. All of the power options on this car work beautifully. The power seats, and the lumbar work exactly how they should. One of the most important things that everyone looks for in this era of Corvette is the digital part of the dash. As you will see in the pics this one works just like it should. The leather seats are in great shape as well as the carpet, door panels, and dash. This car does have both top which ads value to the car. The air blows cold as well.
The most important part of this car is what is between the front wheels. Chevrolet contracted with Lotus to try and put together the fastest production car of the era. What they came up with was 375 HP 32 valve 4 cam motor that for the day was an absolute monster. However, they also put a system in that would shut down 8 of the intake runners and fuel injectors when you were only at part throttle. This motor was so special that Chevrolet realized that they could not build it at any of their plants. Therefore, they contracted Mercury Marine to assemble the motors and actually send them to the Bowling Green Plant to be put in the cars. Other than a set of mufflers and the Hurst shifter the car is 100 % stock as a rock as you will see in all of the photos that we have.
As we said before, this was one special car in 1991 and because of that, it still is today. You really need to get in touch with us right away and make this piece of Corvette history yours. We offer classic car financing for those that would like to take advantage of the option. They have great rates and terms and allow you to pay off the vehicle when you want to. We look forward to speaking with you soon, and we look forward to making you the newest member of the Just Toys Classic Cars family.

About Chevrolet
Chevrolet aka Chevy, founded in 1911 by Louis Chevrolet and William C. Durant is the best selling and biggest brand by General Motors -mainly due to low pricing.

No wonder Chevy the "working man's car" has become such an iconic part of Americana in films and pop-culture.

When talking about Chevy one must not ignore Chevrolet small-block V8 the world's most produced engine that has been in production since 1955 and still going strong.

Surprisingly, "America's only sports car" Corvette was introduced under Chevrolet brand rather than its own. To us the most memorable Corvette has to be The second generation (C2) Corvette, Sting Ray.

To compete with VW Beatle Chevrolet introduced Corvair a compact automobile built in 1960–1969 It was the only American designed, mass-produced passenger car to feature a rear-mounted air-cooled engine. Corvair handling was deemed notoriously bad mainly due to Ralph Nader's Unsafe at Any Speed. Although, any handling issues were soon solved the reputation did stick.

With Pony / Muscle car mania taking over the Americans, following the introduction of Ford Mustang, Chevrolet came up with one of its most famous models Camaro. During the first year alone they managed to sell 220,906 Camaros.
