Chevrolet Corvette 327 1965

General description : Cruisin Classics would like to present our namesake in the form of a 1965 Chevrolet Corvette Sting Ray Convertible. Every once in a while, we get our hands on one of these classics at a price that is realistic and not over-blown. This is one of those times.
First thing, as pictured, the engine numbers are matching the last 6 of the VIN. The engine suffix is HF which equals the 327ci, 300hp and MT(manual transmission) variety as dictated on the engine. (Casting # 3782870= '65 Vette, 327ci). Stock is the keyword for under the hood except an addition and upgrade to an aluminum radiator.
The transmission is a Muncie with a casting number of 3925660 which is a 1968-1969 Manual 4-Speed. The mileage stated is not accurate.
The car looks amazing as you walk around it. The chromed Corvette hub cabs on all 4 will shine along with the Red, driver quality paint as you drive down the road. This body-style is iconic. The gills, badging, white convertible top, gas receptacle on the back, front and back split bumpers, flip up headlights (vacuum, working awesome) all put together to make this one of the most desired automobiles of all times.
The interior shows little sign of wear as the seats are plush and soft, Gauges are clear and in working order, the shifter knob and stick are in the center console and easy to maneuver, space for storage behind the seats and the top when down is clean and looks almost unused. Even the removable center arm pad is still plenty comfortable and just a side note...These are much easier to get in and out of compared to there much younger and newer models.
We invite you to compare this GOOD CONDITION Corvette to the any other. We are quite sure that those in the know will see that we have this at a price that might be of FAIR condition. Here you have a great running, numbers matching '65 Corvette AND convertible for under $50K???
Get It???...before somebody else does..

About Chevrolet
Chevrolet aka Chevy, founded in 1911 by Louis Chevrolet and William C. Durant is the best selling and biggest brand by General Motors -mainly due to low pricing.

No wonder Chevy the "working man's car" has become such an iconic part of Americana in films and pop-culture.

When talking about Chevy one must not ignore Chevrolet small-block V8 the world's most produced engine that has been in production since 1955 and still going strong.

Surprisingly, "America's only sports car" Corvette was introduced under Chevrolet brand rather than its own. To us the most memorable Corvette has to be The second generation (C2) Corvette, Sting Ray.

To compete with VW Beatle Chevrolet introduced Corvair a compact automobile built in 1960–1969 It was the only American designed, mass-produced passenger car to feature a rear-mounted air-cooled engine. Corvair handling was deemed notoriously bad mainly due to Ralph Nader's Unsafe at Any Speed. Although, any handling issues were soon solved the reputation did stick.

With Pony / Muscle car mania taking over the Americans, following the introduction of Ford Mustang, Chevrolet came up with one of its most famous models Camaro. During the first year alone they managed to sell 220,906 Camaros.
