LMC is very proud to offer for sale this 1959 Chevrolet Corvette
The introduction of the Chevrolet Corvette in 1953 offered a stylish open-air cruiser to the GM lineup. Much of the credit of transforming the Corvette form a cruiser to a true sports car goes to engineer/racer Zora Arkus-Duntov, who built the car to succeed in America’s fast-growing youth market. Beginning with the newly developed small-block V-8 engine in 1955, the Corvette was transformed by Duntov into a race-bred, high-performance sports car. In 1958 the Corvette's body received an updated look with a longer front end and quad headlamps, bumper exiting exhaust tips, and some interior changes. The result created a small era from 1958 -'62 that saw what many consider to be the banner machines in the Corvette Legacy.
This Corvette convertible is powered by a 327 CI engine mated to a 3-Speed Turbo 350 transmission. It has some performance upgrades including modern Fuel Injection, Headers, MSD Ignition and Electric Fans. The front factory drum brakes have been replaced with a disc brake conversion allowing for increased braking performance. These performance upgrades make this Corvette a better performer while increasing drive ability and reliability. Finished in beautiful classic Ermine White exterior complemented by Ermine White coves. A stunning black interior greets those who open the doors and features a stylish look that is lost on production cars of today. The two black vinyl bucket seats are in excellent shape and really stand out thanks to chrome trim that separates the body from the seats. In front of the driver is the black steering wheel and in the center of the wheel the famous Corvette cross flags. Beyond the wheel is a gorgeous instrument cluster. A huge 160 MPH speedometer stretches across the dash, and just below it a 7000 RPM tachometer is flanked by four smaller gauges that houses the fuel, battery, temperature, and oil pressure gauges. Full-size factory style wheel covers over whitewall tires complete this beautiful Corvette.
A Corvette Roadster will ensure driver and passenger excitement travelling down any style of road. The Ermine White with black interior is a timeless combination that is absolutely striking in person. The added performance upgrades increase the drivability over a stock Corvette. If you enjoy driving your classic sports cars, then this is the one to have!

About Chevrolet
Chevrolet aka Chevy, founded in 1911 by Louis Chevrolet and William C. Durant is the best selling and biggest brand by General Motors -mainly due to low pricing.

No wonder Chevy the "working man's car" has become such an iconic part of Americana in films and pop-culture.

When talking about Chevy one must not ignore Chevrolet small-block V8 the world's most produced engine that has been in production since 1955 and still going strong.

Surprisingly, "America's only sports car" Corvette was introduced under Chevrolet brand rather than its own. To us the most memorable Corvette has to be The second generation (C2) Corvette, Sting Ray.

To compete with VW Beatle Chevrolet introduced Corvair a compact automobile built in 1960–1969 It was the only American designed, mass-produced passenger car to feature a rear-mounted air-cooled engine. Corvair handling was deemed notoriously bad mainly due to Ralph Nader's Unsafe at Any Speed. Although, any handling issues were soon solved the reputation did stick.

With Pony / Muscle car mania taking over the Americans, following the introduction of Ford Mustang, Chevrolet came up with one of its most famous models Camaro. During the first year alone they managed to sell 220,906 Camaros.
