1968 Chevrolet Corvette Convertible 327 Muncie 4 Speed Power Steering Disc Brake
Up for sale we have a 1968 Chevrolet Corvette. This was the first year for the C3 Corvette. With the all new body style that was adopted by the “String Ray” models you got to appreciate the gorgeous body lines and design features that made it one of the most iconic muscle cars to ever hit the streets. The body on it is in excellent condition with great fit of the doors and hood. All the body lines flow beautiful on it, and it's covered in the Rally Red that has been buffed and polished to a gorgeous shine. The red is accented by the Black Convertible top that is in great condition along with the rear glass. You can also see that the bumpers all appear to have been replaced and are like new along with the luggage rack which adds a great complement to the Red. To finish off the exterior it's sitting on a set of 15” Rally Wheels with BF Goodrich White Letter tires.
The interior of this car is done in Black which is the perfect accent to the exterior color combination. Looking at the dash you can see that it's in excellent condition along with all the gauges. The door panels are like new and the seat covers look great as well. It has had new carpet kit installed and the rear latches to put down the convertible top work like that would have when new.
Under the hood it's powered by a 327 V8 with double hump heads. It's set up with an Edelbrock Intake and Carb that's dressed in the 327 Breather. The double hump heads sport the Finned Valve Covers. For exhaust it has manifolds with dual pipes and flow master mufflers. Of course, the brakes are Four Wheel Disc and it has Power Steering as well. When you look under it you can see the floors and frame are all in excellent condition, and that everything has a gorgeous detail.
