General description : Cruisin Classics would like to introduce a highly-desired 1968 Chevrolet Corvette L71 T-Top with actual mileage title of 49,424. This is a number matching 427 mated with its number matching manual 4-speed transmission. Specifics on the drivetrain below. The interior is original with signs of use. You will find bucket seats, center console with shifter, Corvette 3-spoke wood steering wheel (manual), center dash gauge cluster with all working gauges, Speedometer (160MPH) and Tachometer. The factory FM radio and heater fan do not work. The undercarriage is spectacular for a 1968 vehicle. It has spent the last few years in storage and has been brought back to the light. It has nice paint from being repainted in its original color. (986-Silverstone Poly). The T-tops are easy to remove and put back on for summer cruising. The overall outside appearance is beautiful. The body lines of a 68 are fantastic and are highlighted by the straightness of this classics. The tires, BF Goodrich Radial T/A (15-inch) and Stock Chevrolet Rally Wheels are very appropriate for this car. The brakes are manual 4-wheel disk. The Drivetraina very aggressive, smooth running, number matching 427 cubic inch engine L71 (IR Suffix- 427/435hp). Atop the big-block is stock GM aluminum intake with a tri-power set up of 3 x 2-barrel Holley Carburetors. The manifolds lead down to dual exhaust. The radiator is aluminum. The number matching manual 4-speed transmission works as it should with very little effort needed at the shifter inside. Overall this drivetrain does what you think or hope that it will do. You can feel the power in the pedal with aggressiveness being a big key word. If you are looking for a perfect 1968 L71 Corvetteits not this one. This could be taken to the next level very easily.
