Here we have a 1969 Chevrolet Corvette 427/425HP Convertible for sale. This car features the Matching numbers 427 Engine and is done in the factory Tuxedo Black with Saddle Interior color combo. The body on this Vette is stunning as they did a phenomenal job of block and getting it straight as an arrow before the repaint. As I mentioned it's done in the factory Tuxedo Black but was redone in Base Coat Clear Coat and has been buffed and polished to a gorgeous shine that's slick as a ribbon. All the body gaps are great on this car and all the panels appear to have been well cared for and in excellent condition. Of course, it has the 427 Hood with the Scoops. Looking at the glass you can see it's all in phenomenal condition and that a new tan convertible top has been installed. All the chrome and stainless on this Vette looks to either be new or polished to a like a new condition. To finish off the look it's sitting on a set of 15” AZ Rallyes with Top Hats, Beauty Rings, and BFGoodrich Radial T/A White Letter Tires.
Next, we will look at the interior of this Convertible. On the inside it's also done in the factory Saddle Option. Everything on the inside looks new with the seat covers appearing to have been replaced. The padding is all in excellent condition as well. The dash is stunning in this '69 with all of the gauges working as they should. Even the factory style radio is working. The dash pad looks to have been replaced and is like new. Every piece of trim on the inside of this Vette has a brilliant shine is and is like new. All the carpet appears to have been replaced up front and in the convertible top storage area.
Finally, we will get to the heartbeat of this Chevrolet. Under the hood it's powered by the Matching Numbers 427 435HP engine that's set up with the factory snowflake aluminum intake (3937797) that has the Three Deuce Holley Carbs (3902353, 340929, 3902353) It's mated to the Muncie Four Speed Transmission that goes out back to the factory rear with Posi 3.08 gears. For exhaust it has Manifolds with the highly desirable side pipes. To keep it cool it has the correct Harrison Radiator, correct Shroud, and a clutch fan. The detail of this engine bay is phenomenal with the factory style Air Cleaner and Valve Covers. When you look under it everything looks to be in great condition From the Frame to the Floors. The frame looks rock solid and the floors looks great with some light repair appearing to have been done to the driver front floor. All the suspension looks great with new shocks installed along with new bushings in the front end and new leaf spring bushings out back. The Brakes all work excellently, and the front end is very responsive.
