Chevrolet Corvette 350 V8 1976

General description : Description
Time to get your hands on a very complete, distinct, and enhanced power Corvette for under $16K. This 1976 Chevrolet Corvette has a nice factory color theme and the kind of extra power on the numbers-matching V8 that will make you love driving it everywhere.
The C3 Corvette is one of the most recognizable shapes of all time. This one still fits together nicely, with decent gaps and flush-fitting headlight doors that are a big part of the look. The Orange Flame paint is the factory-correct color. It was only available for two years, and it's part of the vibrant colors that Chevy occasionally offered that seem to represent the 1970s nicely. This application is an older one, and so there will be some people who may even presume it's original (we won't tell if you won't.) While this is the era of the sleeker C3, and its color-matched bumpers, there still is room for brightwork. The rockers, Rally wheels, and optional luggage rack all look good against the distinct orange.
The tan interior also looks great against the orange exterior. So you know you'll love taking the T-tops out and being open to the world. There has been good care to the major components, including the carpet, seats, and dash. We especially like how the carpeting says Stingray, because after all, this was the final year the C3 actually carried the name. And there's even a touch of the upscale with the wood-like inserts of the door panels. There's also power windows, a tilt steering wheel, and an automatic transmission as all part of a comfortable driver's package.
Under the hood is proper V8 power. The 350 cubic-inch unit is the numbers-matching motor. But you can also see that there have been investments in enhancement. It has a full Edelbrock upgrade package with the polished air grabber, matching valve covers, a Performer RPM intake and aluminum heads, and topped with a four-barrel carburetor. Belts, wires, hoses, and the alternator also show the proper care. The enhanced V8 exhales with added power and authority as headers feed the dual exhaust. This is built for the open road, and so features like the fully independent suspension, three-speed automatic transmission, power steering, and four-wheel disc brakes make it ideal.
Complete with owner's manual and spare components, this is the complete Stingray that offers plenty of performance and distinction in a package that's affordably price. So don't miss out, call today!

About Chevrolet
Chevrolet aka Chevy, founded in 1911 by Louis Chevrolet and William C. Durant is the best selling and biggest brand by General Motors -mainly due to low pricing.

No wonder Chevy the "working man's car" has become such an iconic part of Americana in films and pop-culture.

When talking about Chevy one must not ignore Chevrolet small-block V8 the world's most produced engine that has been in production since 1955 and still going strong.

Surprisingly, "America's only sports car" Corvette was introduced under Chevrolet brand rather than its own. To us the most memorable Corvette has to be The second generation (C2) Corvette, Sting Ray.

To compete with VW Beatle Chevrolet introduced Corvair a compact automobile built in 1960–1969 It was the only American designed, mass-produced passenger car to feature a rear-mounted air-cooled engine. Corvair handling was deemed notoriously bad mainly due to Ralph Nader's Unsafe at Any Speed. Although, any handling issues were soon solved the reputation did stick.

With Pony / Muscle car mania taking over the Americans, following the introduction of Ford Mustang, Chevrolet came up with one of its most famous models Camaro. During the first year alone they managed to sell 220,906 Camaros.
