One of the best conditioned and driving C3s you could wish to find

1969 Chevrolet Corvette C3 Stingray 427 Coupé (LHD)

Launched in 1968, the Corvette C3 was the third generation in the Corvette Lineage and the second graced with the Stingray name. Replacing the already beloved C2, the C3 had big boots to fill in terms of both styling and performance. Fortunately, it filled those boots and beyond, being hugely popular due to its top-level performance and Euro-beating styling, it saw a 13 year production with huge sales figures throughout its life. However, later examples lack the desirability of the earlier cars as we are proud to present you today.

Finished in Riverside Gold over Black interior, our Stingray is only a Second year example which benefits from the elegant Chrome side vents and more importantly, the Chrome Bumpers on the front and rear which were later substituted for far cheaper, cumbersome fibreglass bumpers from 1973 onwards. Even better, our car is a very desirable Big Block Example, equipped with the 427 Cubic Inch, 7.0 V8, factory rated at 390BHP, mated with a 4-Speed Manual Gearbox. In fact, our car holds a very similar specification to the iconic “Astrovettes”, the cars supplied to Apollo Astronauts which were finished in Riverside Gold over a black interior with the 427 engine and the 4-Speed Manual transmission with the main differences being the livery and the wheels.

What we are proudly presenting to you today is a Corvette Stingray in stunning condition that ticks all the key boxes in what you would want in a C3, Chrome bumpers, the Chrome Side Vents, desirable Rally Wheels and most importantly of all, the Big Block engine and the 4-Speed Manual. Arguably one of the very best Corvettes available in Europe, not to be missed!

About Chevrolet
Chevrolet aka Chevy, founded in 1911 by Louis Chevrolet and William C. Durant is the best selling and biggest brand by General Motors -mainly due to low pricing.

No wonder Chevy the "working man's car" has become such an iconic part of Americana in films and pop-culture.

When talking about Chevy one must not ignore Chevrolet small-block V8 the world's most produced engine that has been in production since 1955 and still going strong.

Surprisingly, "America's only sports car" Corvette was introduced under Chevrolet brand rather than its own. To us the most memorable Corvette has to be The second generation (C2) Corvette, Sting Ray.

To compete with VW Beatle Chevrolet introduced Corvair a compact automobile built in 1960–1969 It was the only American designed, mass-produced passenger car to feature a rear-mounted air-cooled engine. Corvair handling was deemed notoriously bad mainly due to Ralph Nader's Unsafe at Any Speed. Although, any handling issues were soon solved the reputation did stick.

With Pony / Muscle car mania taking over the Americans, following the introduction of Ford Mustang, Chevrolet came up with one of its most famous models Camaro. During the first year alone they managed to sell 220,906 Camaros.
