Chevrolet Corvette L36 427 427 L36 V8 1969

General description : This 1969 Chevrolet Corvette gets all the important stuff right, including the numbers-matching 427 big block, numbers-matching four-speed, and a terrific red-blooded American attitude that makes the Stingray an icon.
This coupe is all about having an awesome vintage sports car style with something a little extra to offer. For example, the factory-correct Rally Red paint has a good gloss from a good respray later in life. It alloys the sunshine to show off the crisp details, like the sharply pointed front end, racecar-like fender flares, and the well-integrated rear spoiler. We especially like the flying buttress rear that gives this all-American sports car a hint of European flair. These earlier C3s are desirable for their brightwork that gave you more than the later cars. It's a good polish away from being a show-stopper, and what's most important it that it's a complete package with the form-fitting chrome front end, two-piece rear bumpers, window trim, and Rally wheels.
The black interior is always the right look you want on a powerful sports car. The Corvette is built to be a true driver's machine. That's why there's a large speedo and tach behind the three-spoke sports steering wheel, and the full auxiliary gauge setup is directly to the side at eye-level. There has been a nice investment in quality with newer pieces, including the seats and dash pad. Plus, the radio is a retro-style unit that offers a AM/FM digital tuner. You even have working courtesy lights. But arguably, the most desirable feature all has to do with the breeze. It's a coupe that keeps you buttoned up whenever you want. But the T-tops and removable rear window also means a convertible-like experience whenever you want.
Under the hood is the original numbers-matching 427 cubic-inch V8. It was rebuilt as part of a thorough restoration that gives it a clean look with the right amount of polish. Plus, you also have a Holley four-barrel carburetor, GM Winter's intake, and upgraded headers feeding the dual exhaust. The perfect pairing to this big motor is the numbers-matching Muncie M21 close-ratio four-speed manual transmission that allows you to take full advantage of the enhanced power and the thunderous soundtrack. This feeds a date-correct rear-end with Positraction. The receipt file even shows the right investments in the suspension within the last few years. So while this growls like a beastly machine, it also drives with the confidence that makes it easy to tame. Plus, it's great for your favorite back roads thanks to the power steering, a fully independent sports suspension, and four-wheel disc brakes.
Here's an iconic classic that knows how to get attention and bring serious power to the streets. Don't miss out, call today!

About Chevrolet
Chevrolet aka Chevy, founded in 1911 by Louis Chevrolet and William C. Durant is the best selling and biggest brand by General Motors -mainly due to low pricing.

No wonder Chevy the "working man's car" has become such an iconic part of Americana in films and pop-culture.

When talking about Chevy one must not ignore Chevrolet small-block V8 the world's most produced engine that has been in production since 1955 and still going strong.

Surprisingly, "America's only sports car" Corvette was introduced under Chevrolet brand rather than its own. To us the most memorable Corvette has to be The second generation (C2) Corvette, Sting Ray.

To compete with VW Beatle Chevrolet introduced Corvair a compact automobile built in 1960–1969 It was the only American designed, mass-produced passenger car to feature a rear-mounted air-cooled engine. Corvair handling was deemed notoriously bad mainly due to Ralph Nader's Unsafe at Any Speed. Although, any handling issues were soon solved the reputation did stick.

With Pony / Muscle car mania taking over the Americans, following the introduction of Ford Mustang, Chevrolet came up with one of its most famous models Camaro. During the first year alone they managed to sell 220,906 Camaros.
