Chevrolet Corvette 383 Stroker V8 1975

General description : A unique color, loaded A/C interior, and a powerful 383ci 440+ hp V8 heart make this 1975 Chevrolet Corvette instantly distinctive. And the price shows this is one of the rare opportunities where something so attractive is also obtainable.
The Root Beer Brown Metallic is an absolutely interesting color for this car. It has a modern gloss and shine that seems to go well with the later C3s. After all, these had plastic bumpers that fit the contours of the car and made the paint the real star. The rockers, trim, and Rally wheel add to the car's total shine. But since this is a 1970s machine, the earthy base of the brown paint also fits with the era nicely. And speaking of fit, the doors and panels line up well for a quality appearance. So this car has an attractive total style even before you check out all the power under the hood (more on that in a moment.)
The interior is a nice tan with wood accents in the doors. It has a harmonizing look against the dark brown exterior, and so you'll love taking the T-tops out just to show off the full color combo. More than just look good, this is a driver-focused machine with high-back bucket seats, a tilt/telescopic steering column, and the essential gauges in front of you with a full auxiliary readout package prominently to the side. Plus, it's built with comfort in mind with features like power windows, a retro-style AM/FM digital tuner w/aux input, and cold-blowing R134a air conditioning.
You could only get the 350 cubic-inch V8 in 1975, but this one gets a healthy upgrade in displacement to a 383 stroker unit. In fact, it was built by the masters at BluePrint engines. It's a full performance setup with BluePrint aluminum heads, an Edelbrock four-Barrell carburetor, an Edelbrock Performer intake, and Headman headers. We have the dyno sheet that shows this puts out a street-eating 443 horsepower, and the growl of the side exhaust lets people know your power superiority. The TH400 three-speed automatic transmission is a stout TCI StreetFighter unit that knows how to handle all the extra muscle. And with power steering, four-wheel power disc brakes, and the fully independent sports suspension, this upgraded Corvette really knows how to maximize its fun.
The sale comes complete with the build receipts and dyno sheet. You never needed any more reasons to desire a classic C3, but now you know why this is the one you must have. Call today!!!

About Chevrolet
Chevrolet aka Chevy, founded in 1911 by Louis Chevrolet and William C. Durant is the best selling and biggest brand by General Motors -mainly due to low pricing.

No wonder Chevy the "working man's car" has become such an iconic part of Americana in films and pop-culture.

When talking about Chevy one must not ignore Chevrolet small-block V8 the world's most produced engine that has been in production since 1955 and still going strong.

Surprisingly, "America's only sports car" Corvette was introduced under Chevrolet brand rather than its own. To us the most memorable Corvette has to be The second generation (C2) Corvette, Sting Ray.

To compete with VW Beatle Chevrolet introduced Corvair a compact automobile built in 1960–1969 It was the only American designed, mass-produced passenger car to feature a rear-mounted air-cooled engine. Corvair handling was deemed notoriously bad mainly due to Ralph Nader's Unsafe at Any Speed. Although, any handling issues were soon solved the reputation did stick.

With Pony / Muscle car mania taking over the Americans, following the introduction of Ford Mustang, Chevrolet came up with one of its most famous models Camaro. During the first year alone they managed to sell 220,906 Camaros.
