Description : Gateway Classic Cars of Fort Lauderdale is happy to present this 1975 Chevrolet Corvette Roadster.

1975 had some notable endings and beginnings, primarily the end of the run for C3 convertibles, standard through the hood cold air induction, and the first year for a catalytic converter. Despite the large drop in net horsepower in 1975, these are still very cool, fund to drive Corvettes with more than enough power on tap for most. Adding a performance tune and true dual exhaust, you can easily up the power and performance.

This is a base 350 V8 L48 version, with L82 emblems added to the hood at some point in its life. It is still very correct under the hood, with the exception of the original air cleaner assembly being swapped for the current air cleaner. The 73-75's sound amazing with the Quadrajet 4Bbl howling through the hood cold air intake. Easy to find those parts if you want it more correct. The A.I.R. system is there but disconnected. Exhaust is still the original single cat, twin tailpipe & muffler setup.

The exterior paint looks quite nice, and a set of American Racing rims give it a classic look. The traditional dealer added luggage rack give it that vintage C3 look. The interior is very presentable with minimal wear, and the black really highlights the C3 interior features. Equipment includes power steering, power brakes and factory air conditioning. This one comes with soft top only.

Here's a nice entry level 'Vette you can enjoy and still get the thumbs up. You can enjoy it as is without any shame or pop a nice crate motor in it down the road. C3 Corvettes fly off the shelf around here, so get it before it is gone!

About Chevrolet
Chevrolet aka Chevy, founded in 1911 by Louis Chevrolet and William C. Durant is the best selling and biggest brand by General Motors -mainly due to low pricing.

No wonder Chevy the "working man's car" has become such an iconic part of Americana in films and pop-culture.

When talking about Chevy one must not ignore Chevrolet small-block V8 the world's most produced engine that has been in production since 1955 and still going strong.

Surprisingly, "America's only sports car" Corvette was introduced under Chevrolet brand rather than its own. To us the most memorable Corvette has to be The second generation (C2) Corvette, Sting Ray.

To compete with VW Beatle Chevrolet introduced Corvair a compact automobile built in 1960–1969 It was the only American designed, mass-produced passenger car to feature a rear-mounted air-cooled engine. Corvair handling was deemed notoriously bad mainly due to Ralph Nader's Unsafe at Any Speed. Although, any handling issues were soon solved the reputation did stick.

With Pony / Muscle car mania taking over the Americans, following the introduction of Ford Mustang, Chevrolet came up with one of its most famous models Camaro. During the first year alone they managed to sell 220,906 Camaros.
