Description : Gateway Classic Cars is excited to offer this gorgeous 1970 Chevrolet Corvette Convertible in our Ft Lauderdale Showroom. The Chevrolet Corvette C3 was produced from 1967 to 1982 and is the third generation of the Corvette sports car. The C3 Corvette featured a new body and interior, but the chassis and engines were carried forward from the previous generation C2. The design of the C3 Corvette resembled the second run Mako Shark II concept car that was initiated in 1964.

This stunning Chevrolet C3 Corvette convertible, is a fine example of a C3 and is a great example of what a real sports car should be. The exterior is finished in a vibrant Red paint, that reaches out and grabs any ones attention. To contrast this Red color is a fresh, clean, convertible top in Tan, that really makes this car stand out from the crowd. Adding to the look, is chrome bumpers both front and back, that start the car off right and finish it better. The interior is in a classy Tan color as well, matching the top, with brand new carpet inside with elegant leather upholstery. Under the hood, is a 350 CID Chevrolet small block V8 engine, that is hammering out 350 ground pounding horse power. Moreover, backing that 350 CID V8 machine, is a 4-speed manual transmission. Indeed, this Corvette has a lot of factory options and the owner as well spared no expense in adding on to that. Options and amenities include, but are not limited to: Power Steering, Power Brakes, Am/Fm Radio, Ceramic Coating, Rally Wheels, New Air Conditioning, New Tune-Up, New Raised White Letter Radial Tires, New Pulleys, New front and rear Suspension and more!

About Chevrolet
Chevrolet aka Chevy, founded in 1911 by Louis Chevrolet and William C. Durant is the best selling and biggest brand by General Motors -mainly due to low pricing.

No wonder Chevy the "working man's car" has become such an iconic part of Americana in films and pop-culture.

When talking about Chevy one must not ignore Chevrolet small-block V8 the world's most produced engine that has been in production since 1955 and still going strong.

Surprisingly, "America's only sports car" Corvette was introduced under Chevrolet brand rather than its own. To us the most memorable Corvette has to be The second generation (C2) Corvette, Sting Ray.

To compete with VW Beatle Chevrolet introduced Corvair a compact automobile built in 1960–1969 It was the only American designed, mass-produced passenger car to feature a rear-mounted air-cooled engine. Corvair handling was deemed notoriously bad mainly due to Ralph Nader's Unsafe at Any Speed. Although, any handling issues were soon solved the reputation did stick.

With Pony / Muscle car mania taking over the Americans, following the introduction of Ford Mustang, Chevrolet came up with one of its most famous models Camaro. During the first year alone they managed to sell 220,906 Camaros.
